【辨析】

accept與receive的區(qū)別

⑴receive通常指被動(dòng)地“收到”或“接到",而accept則指主動(dòng)地“接受”。

⑵【搭配】“接受禮物”說(shuō)成英語(yǔ)是acceptagift,“接受教育"卻是receiveaneducationo

2.adjustv.調(diào)整;調(diào)節(jié);適應(yīng);習(xí)慣;整理

【辨析】adapt與adjust的區(qū)別

兩者均有“使適合,適應(yīng)”之意。adapt指“修改或改變以適應(yīng)新條件”,強(qiáng)調(diào)改變的目的和重要

性。adjust與adapt含義很接近,但adjust指“調(diào)整”“調(diào)節(jié)”使之適應(yīng),所改變的幅度要小一些,

側(cè)重過(guò)程,主要用于調(diào)整角度、高度、光點(diǎn)等。
