情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的用法

【重難點(diǎn)分析】

情態(tài)動(dòng)詞(ModalVerbs)I

*情態(tài)動(dòng)詞也可稱為"情態(tài)助動(dòng)詞(ModalAuxiliaries)",因?yàn)樗突?/p>

助動(dòng)詞(be,do,have)都屬于助動(dòng)詞類。

*情態(tài)動(dòng)詞和其他動(dòng)詞連用,可表示說(shuō)話人的語(yǔ)氣。

*情態(tài)動(dòng)詞可表達(dá)建議、要求、可能和意愿等。

*情態(tài)動(dòng)詞沒(méi)有人稱和數(shù)的變化。

*常用的情態(tài)動(dòng)詞有:can,could,may,might,must,shall,should,will,

would這九大情態(tài)動(dòng)詞;其他的還有oughtto,need,dare等。

一、九大情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的時(shí)態(tài)關(guān)系:

1.現(xiàn)在式can一過(guò)去式could

2.現(xiàn)在式may一過(guò)去式might

3.現(xiàn)在式shall-過(guò)去式should

4.現(xiàn)在式will一過(guò)去式would

5.現(xiàn)在式must--過(guò)去式must(常用hadto來(lái)代替)

二、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞表示“可能”或“預(yù)測(cè)”

(can,could,will,would,shall,should,must,oughtto)

(1)can和could用于表示“可能”或“預(yù)測(cè)”:

2.Canthenewsbetrue?(將情態(tài)動(dòng)詞can置于主語(yǔ)thenews前就成疑

問(wèn)句)

3.Anybodycanmakemistake.(只表示理論上的可能性)

任何人都可能犯錯(cuò)誤。

(2)may和might用于表示“事實(shí)上的可能性”或“預(yù)測(cè)”:
