Anychangetothecomponentormaterial,e.g.,design,function,properties,manufacturingprocessand/orlocationofmanufacturerequiresanewreleaseoftheproduct.Itisthesoleresponsibilityofthesuppliertoprovidethecustomer,unsolicited,withdocumentationofanychangeormodificationtotheproduct/process,andtoapplyforanewrelease.

Ifnototherwiseagreedtotheentireverificationtestshallberepeatedanddocumentedbythesupplierpriortostartofdeliveryofthemodifiedorchangedproduct.InsomecasesashortertestcanbeagreedtobetweentheresponsibleGMDepartmentandthesupplier.
