Analysisofthetextbookinthislesson:

Unit5IntotheUnknownUsinglanguage(2019)isaclassinaseniorhighschoolEnglishtextbook,whichmainlyintroducestheintroductionandrelatedinformationofsomesciencefictionmovies.Thetextmainlyincludesthedefinitionandcharacteristicsofsciencefictionmoviesandtheintroductionandanalysisoftwodifferenttypesofsciencefictionmovies,TheDaytheEarthStoodStillandInception.

Teachingobjectives:

1.Knowledgeandabilityobjective:Studentscanmasterthedefinitionandcharacteristicsofsciencefictionmoviesandlearnhowtoevaluateandanalyzerelatedvocabularyandexpressionsofsciencefictionmoviesbylearningthecontentofthislesson.

2.ProcessandMethodObjective:Tocultivatestudents'abilitytoacquireandmunicateinformationthroughreading,listening,speaking,writingandothermeans.

3.EmotionalattitudeValuesGoal:Tocultivatestudents'scientificspiritandinnovativethinking,andstimulatestudents'interestinexploringunknownareas.

1.Learnthedefinitionandcharacteristicsofsciencefictionmovies.

Inthesecondyearofseniorhighschool,studentshavemasteredsomebasicknowledgeofEnglishandhaveacertainunderstandingofthethemeofsciencefictionmovies.However,thecharacteristicsandevaluationofsciencefictionmoviesmaynotbefamiliar.Mostofthestudentsareyoungpeoplewhoaremoreinterestedinsciencefictionmoviesandhavestrongcuriosityandexplorationspirit.

Teachingstrategy:

1.Stimulatestudents'interest:Stimulatestudents'interestinsciencefictionmoviesbyintroducingsomeinterestingclipsorpicturesofsciencefictionmovies.

2.Cooperativelearning:Organizestudentstoconductgroupcooperativelearning,discussthecharacteristicsandevaluationofsciencefictionmovies,exchangeopinionsandviewswitheachother,andcultivatestudents'cooperationandthinkingability.

3.Multimediateaching:binemultimediaresources,suchasPPT,video,etc.,toteach,provideintuitivedisplayandaudiosoundforstudentstobetterunderstandandremember.

1.Listeningandspeakingtraining:Improvestudents'listeningandspeakingabilitybylisteningtoanddiscussingsciencefictionmovies.

b.Studentsfollowandimitatetheteacher'sdemonstration,andthenpracticeandinteractwiththeirownactualsituation.

c.Teachersdesignvarioussituationsandaskstudentstousethesentencepatternstheyhavelearnedtomunicateorally,suchasguessingaperson'soccupation,thecharacteristicsofananimal,etc.

d.Theteacherorganizedstudentsintogroups.Eachgroupdesignedanunknownlocationandguessedthelocationdesignedbyeachotherthroughquestionsandanswersamonggroupmembers.
