rsatthistime.Since1995,Westernsubtitletranslationhasdevelopedfasterandfaster,andtherehavebeenmoreandmoretheoreticalstudiesonsubtitletranslation.Inthepasttwodecades,Europeanacademicresearchresultshavebeenoutstanding.Theyhavemadegreatcontributionsinthefieldofsubtitletranslationandhaveprovidedmanyreferencesforotherscholarstostudysubtitletranslation.2.2.2StudiesonsubtitletranslationathomeAsawhole,theresearchonsubtitletranslationinmycountryismuchlaterthaninWesterncountries.Bycombingthroughthearticlesonsubtitletranslationinrecentyears,wecanprobablyfindthattheresearchtheoriesinclude:functionalequivalencetheory,ecologicaltranslationtheory,relevancetheory,adaptationtheory,functionalSkoposTheory,cognitivetranslationview,andothers.Inadditiontoresearchfromatheoreticalperspective,somearticleshavedirectlyresearchedtranslationstrategiesandtranslationmethods,suchastranslationstrategiesofdomesticationandforeignization,andtranslationmethodsofliteraltranslationanddeduction.Before2006,peoplepaidverylittleattentiontosubtitletranslationinmycountry.Mostoftheattentiontofilmtranslationfocusedonthetranslationofmovietitles.Theprosandconsoftranslationwerediscussedintermsofspecifictranslationstrategies,andtherewasnosystematicandscientificresearchsystem.Sincethebeginningofthe21stcentury,thefilmindustryhascreatedtheeraofImaxand3Dimages.Peoplearemorepursuingtheshockingeffectandoriginalsoundoffilmimages.Subtitletranslationhasalsoprovidedanewdevelopmentopportunityformycountry'sfilmindustry.SinceLiYunxingpublishedhisarticle"StrategiesforSubtitleTranslation"inChinaTranslation,subtitletranslationhasgraduallyattractedtheattentionofmanyscholarsasanindependentfield(Li,2001).Throughresearch,WangLipingconcludedthatthesubtitletranslationof"Non-II"satisfiestheadaptiveconversionof"three-dimensional"andisasuccessfulsubtitletranslation(Wang,2011).Atthesametime,peopleareconstantlythinkingaboutthefutureofhowtocarryoutsubtitletranslationresearch.3.SkoposTheoryastheTheoreticalFramework3.1OverviewofSkoposTheorySkoposTheory:itskeyideaisthatthepurposeofthetranslationactiscrucialtothetranslationprocess.Ittakestwoforms.Oneistheinternal,theinternalSkoposTheory,andtheotheristheexternal,theexternalSkoposTheory.SkoposTheoryoftranslationholdsthatinanytranslation,wemusttakethe"skoposrule"asthemajorpremise,thatis,whentranslatingtheoriginaltext,thetranslatorshouldbeabletofollowthewayexpectedbythetranslatorinthebackgroundoftheoriginaltext,whichplaysanindispensableroleinthewholetranslationprocess.Thefinalresultdeterminesthemethodusedinthewholetranslationprocess.Wemayhavemorethanonepurposeinthewholeprocessoftranslation.Itmayhavemorethanonepurpose.Wecanroughlydividethesepurposesintothreecategories.Thefirstisthegoalthatthetranslatorwantstoachieve,whichisthesayingthatthesimplebirdsflyfirst;Thesecondisthepurposethatthetranslatedtextwantstoachieve,thatis,theinspirationthatthereadergetsinthetranslatedtext;Thethirdisthepurposeofthetranslationwhichisintendedtoachievebysomespecialmeans.However,ingeneral,thesimplestandmostdirectpurposeoftranslationisforbettercommunicationbetweenpeople.3.2ThreerulesofSkoposTheory3.2.1SkoposruleSkoposruleisaprinciplethateverytranslatormustabideby,whichrequirestheaudiencetounderstandthetranslatedtext.Thisruledeterminesthebehavior,methodsandstrategiesoftranslation.Translatorsplayasubjectiveroleintheprocessoftranslatingworks.Theyshouldtranslateaccordingtothepreferencesoftheaudience,thelanguagehabitsoftheaudienceandthecustomsandculturalbackgroundofthecountryorregiontowhichtheaudiencebelongs.3.2.2CoherenceruleCoherencerulemeansthatthelogicalrelationshipwithinthetranslationmusthaveacertaindegreeofcontinuity,andthetranslationmustbereadableandacceptable,sothattherecipientofthetargetlanguagecanunderstandit.Inshort,thetranslationmustnotonlybereadable,butalsoacceptability,inordertomaximizethepurposeofcommunication.Toachievethemaximumimitationoftheoriginaltranslation.3.2.3LoyaltyruleTheruleofloyalty,whichisnotabsoluteloyalty,isarulethatvariesfrompersontoperson.Becauseeveryreaderisdifferent.ThereareathousandHamletsinathousandreaders.Thisruleisabouthowwellthereaderortranslatorunderstandsthetext.3.3ThereasonsforselectingSkoposTheoryastheTheoreticalFrameworkFirstofall,asamajorbreakthroughinthestudyofWesterntranslationtheory,SkoposTheoryisofgreatsignificancebothintheoryandpractice.Secondly,SkoposTheorymakestranslationstandardsdiversified,andthediversificationoftranslationstandardsmakestranslationclosertoreality.Finally,becauseSkoposTheorybreaksthetraditionalmodeloftranslationtheory,itplacesthefocusoftranslationresearchonthechoiceoftranslationpurpose,andsolvestheshortcomingsoftraditionaltranslationresearch,thusprovidingnewideasfortranslationresearchandpromotingthedevelopmentoftranslationtheory.4.AnAnalysisoftheC-ETranslationMethodsofSubtitlesofNeZhaundertheSkoposTheory4.1AbriefintroductiontoNeZhaNeZhaisananimatedfilmproducedbyHorgosCaitiaoyaPicturesCo.,Ltd.ThefilmisadaptedfromaChinesemythicalstory.IttellsthestoryofNeZha'sgrowthexperienceinspiteofbeing"bornasadevil"but"
