《英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法》課程教學(xué)大綱一、課程名稱(chēng):英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法EnglishGrammar二、課程編碼:11224010三、學(xué)時(shí)與學(xué)分:34學(xué)時(shí)/2學(xué)分四、考核方式:考試五、先修課程:基礎(chǔ)英語(yǔ)(1-3)六、適用學(xué)科專(zhuān)業(yè):英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)七、課程總體教學(xué)目的學(xué)完本課程學(xué)生應(yīng)該能夠:辨別和區(qū)分詞素、詞、詞組、分句和句子等五個(gè)語(yǔ)法層次。列出各封閉詞類(lèi)(介詞、代詞、限定詞、連詞和助動(dòng)詞等)和開(kāi)放詞類(lèi)(名詞、形容詞、副詞和主動(dòng)詞等)并說(shuō)明它們的功能。解釋不同名詞作主語(yǔ)的主謂一致問(wèn)題以及不同分句和句子中的主謂一致問(wèn)題。解釋主動(dòng)詞、助動(dòng)詞、及物動(dòng)詞、雙及物動(dòng)詞、不及物動(dòng)詞和聯(lián)系動(dòng)詞的功能;并說(shuō)明動(dòng)詞的各種時(shí)、態(tài)和體的作用。理解主動(dòng)詞情態(tài)意義的表達(dá)法(可能、能力、允許和義務(wù)等);區(qū)分情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的推測(cè)性和非推測(cè)性用法。識(shí)別和分析非限定動(dòng)詞在句中的運(yùn)用。識(shí)別和分析簡(jiǎn)單句的成分、其轉(zhuǎn)換與擴(kuò)大以及句子的種類(lèi)。熟悉各種句子類(lèi)型及運(yùn)用。識(shí)別和分析復(fù)雜句的結(jié)構(gòu)(從屬結(jié)構(gòu)、關(guān)系分句等)。識(shí)別、解釋口語(yǔ)和書(shū)面語(yǔ)的主要差別。理解不同文體中語(yǔ)法的區(qū)別。識(shí)別英式英語(yǔ)和美式英語(yǔ)的主要語(yǔ)法差異。運(yùn)用各種銜接手段(省略、替代、照應(yīng)等)實(shí)現(xiàn)從句子到語(yǔ)段再到語(yǔ)篇的連貫性和邏輯性。八、總體教學(xué)要求:英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法是英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)的專(zhuān)業(yè)必修課,使用教材為章振邦編著的《新編英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法教程》,由上海外語(yǔ)教育出版社出版。該課程幫助學(xué)生比較系統(tǒng)地了解分析英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法的方法,使他們認(rèn)識(shí)、了解英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)和書(shū)面語(yǔ)的區(qū)別以及從詞到句再至語(yǔ)篇的構(gòu)造。通過(guò)對(duì)各個(gè)語(yǔ)法層次,即詞素、詞、詞組、分句和句子的系統(tǒng)認(rèn)識(shí)和分析,提高學(xué)生使用英語(yǔ)的規(guī)范性以及傳遞信息、表達(dá)思想的準(zhǔn)確性和邏輯性。由于學(xué)生在中學(xué)階段已經(jīng)了解、掌握了相當(dāng)?shù)恼Z(yǔ)法知識(shí),本課程不求面面俱到,而是有所側(cè)重。通過(guò)一學(xué)期的學(xué)習(xí),本課程旨在進(jìn)一步提高學(xué)生實(shí)際運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)的能力,為后來(lái)的學(xué)習(xí)和研究英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言、文學(xué)奠定基礎(chǔ)。講授之前對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行測(cè)試以便確定教學(xué)的重點(diǎn),其他的由學(xué)生自己學(xué)習(xí)掌握,教師會(huì)通過(guò)練習(xí)檢測(cè)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)情況。除了教材上的練習(xí)(課堂上做一部分;布置課后做一部分;其余學(xué)生自行處理),學(xué)生要完成的作業(yè)還包括課后的寫(xiě)作、翻譯、課堂上的小組討論、相互改錯(cuò)等活動(dòng),通過(guò)對(duì)語(yǔ)法知識(shí)的實(shí)際運(yùn)用促進(jìn)他們對(duì)英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)的理解和掌握。所有課內(nèi)、課外作業(yè)和小組活動(dòng)的參與各占平時(shí)成績(jī)的一半比分。平時(shí)成績(jī)占總成績(jī)的30%。期末考試為筆試,除了對(duì)語(yǔ)法點(diǎn)的測(cè)試,著重考核學(xué)生對(duì)知識(shí)理解和運(yùn)用,此類(lèi)測(cè)試所占比例一般不少于50%。九、基本教學(xué)安排本課程開(kāi)設(shè)一個(gè)學(xué)期,總學(xué)時(shí)為34學(xué)時(shí),每周2個(gè)學(xué)時(shí),安排在第4個(gè)學(xué)期。教學(xué)進(jìn)度安排如下:Unit1:Introduction–GrammaticalHierarchyObjectivesDefineSentence,Clause,Phrase,WordandMorpheme.Segmentafullsentencerankbyrankdowntomorphemes.Distinguishdifferenttypesofsentences.GrammaticalhierarchyMorphemesWordsPhrasesClausesSentencesMainpoint:SentencetypesHomework:Writeajournalabouttwopages,doublespace.Topicfree.Unit2:SentenceStructureObjectivesIdentifydifferentclauseelementsinasentence.Identifydifferentclausetypes.Combinesimplesentencesintoasinglecompound,complexorcompound-complexsentence.SentencestructureClauseelementsBasicclausetypesandtheirtransformationandexpansionMainpoint:thecombinationofsentences.HomeworkExercise1C,p24-27.Readingassignment,p28-51onsubject-verbconcord.Unit3:Nouns,GenitiveNounsandPronounsObjectivesApplyabasicknowledgeofnouns,genitivenounsandpronouns.Identifymajortypesofnouns.Distinguishbetweentypesofpronoun.Nouns,GenitiveNounsandPronounsClassificationofnounsandfunctionofnounphrasesNumberformsofnounsPartitivesIndependentgenitiveanddoublegenitivePronounconcordandcaseformsTypesofpronounMainpoints:numberformsofnouns;pronounconcordandcaseformsHomework:Ex.4C,p67;Ex.5D,p81-82
