專題并列句和復合句一、并列句用并列連詞連接起來的兩個或兩個以上的簡單句叫做并列句。1.構(gòu)成:簡單句+并列連詞+簡單句。2.常見的用于連接兩個簡單句的并列連詞有:and,but,or,so,for。(1)and意為“和;并且”,表示順延、并列等關(guān)系。如:Workhard,andyoucanwintheprize.=Ifyouworkhard,youwillwintheprize.努力工作,你就會得獎。(2)but意為“但是”,表示轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系。如:Sheistired,butshecan’tfallasleep.她很疲憊,卻睡不著。(3)or意為“否則;或者;或”,表示選擇關(guān)系。如:Hurryup,oryou’llbelate.=Ifyoudon’thurryup,you’llbelate.快點,否則你會遲到。(4)so意為“所以;因此;于是”,表示因果關(guān)系。如:Hedoeslittleexercise,sohegetsilleasily.他幾乎不鍛煉,所以很容易生病。(5)for意為“因為”,表示因果關(guān)系。如:Ihavetostayuplate,forIhavealotofworktodo.我不得不熬夜,因為我有許多工作要做。3.當連詞and連接的并列句前半部分是祈使句,后半部分是將來時的陳述句時,其含義相當于由if引導的條件狀語從句。這種句型還可以用or來連接,但意思不同。如:Checkitupagain,oryou’llmissthelastchance.=Ifyoudon’tcheckitupagain,you’llmissthelastchance.再檢查一遍,不然你會錯過最后的機會。4.其他的并列句其他的并列連詞有:then,while,when,yet,notonly…butalso…,neither...nor…,either…or…,both…and…,aswellas。如:IlikeEnglish①mybrotherlikesChinese.(表示對比關(guān)系。)我喜歡英語,而我弟弟卻喜歡漢語。二、狀語從句狀語從句在主從復合句中修飾主句中的動詞、形容詞或副詞等,狀語從句由從屬連詞引導,與主句連接,位于句首時,常用逗號與主句分開,位于句末時,其前一般不用逗號。狀語從句根據(jù)其用途可分為時間狀語從句、原因狀語從句、結(jié)果狀語從句、條件狀語從句、讓步狀語從句、方式狀語從句、目的狀語從句等。從句的分類從句的引導詞例句時間狀語從句when/while/as(當……時),before(在……之前),after(在……之后),since(自從),until(直到……才),assoonas(一……就)Therainbowcameout②therainstormstopped.暴風雨過后,彩虹出現(xiàn)了。條件狀語從句if(如果),aslongas(只要),unless(除非)③weatherstopsme,Igoforawalkeveryday.我每天都會去散步,除非遇上壞天氣。原因狀語從句because(因為),since(既然),as(由于),for(由于)Iliketoeatapplesbe?causeit’stasty.我喜歡吃蘋果,因為它很可口。④everyoneishere,let’sbeginourmeeting.既然每個人都在這兒,我們開始開會吧。目的狀語從句sothat(以便,為了),inorderthat(為了)Hegetsupearlyeverymorning⑤hecancatchthebus.他每天早上起得都很早,以便能趕上公交車。結(jié)果狀語從句sothat(結(jié)果是),so...that/such...that(如此……以致于)It’s⑥hot⑦nobodywantstogoout.外面太熱以至于沒人想出去。讓步狀語從句though/although(盡管,雖然),evenif(即使),whatever(無論什么),wherever(無論哪里),whenever(無論何時)⑧yougo,Iwillgowithyou.無論你去哪兒,我都跟著你。⑨youcome,Iwillwaitforyou.無論你什么時候來,我都會等你。比較狀語從句than(比……),as...a(chǎn)s(和……一樣),notas/so...a(chǎn)s(不如……)HeisasstrongasTom.他和湯姆一樣強壯。地點狀語從句where(……的地方),wherever(無論哪里)Sitwhereveryoulike.請隨便坐。1.時間狀語從句(1)當主句是一般將來時態(tài)或祈使句,表示將來的意義時,從句用一般現(xiàn)在時,簡稱“主將從現(xiàn)”。如:I’llringyouupassoonasI⑩toBeijing.我一到北京就給你打電話。(2)when引導的時間狀語從句,表示主句和從句的動作同時發(fā)生;before表示主句的動作發(fā)生在從句的動作之前;after則表示主句的動作發(fā)生在從句的動作之后;as引導的時間狀語從句時,強調(diào)并行發(fā)生,不指先后。(3)until/till引導的時間狀語從句。1)主句的謂語動詞是延續(xù)性動詞時,主句用肯定形式,表示這一動作或狀態(tài)一直延續(xù)到until/till所表示的時間為止。如:I’llwaitforyouyoucometoseeme.我會一直等到你來看我。2)主句的謂語動詞是非延續(xù)性動詞時,用否定形式表示主句的動作直到until所表示的時間才發(fā)生。構(gòu)成句式not…until,有時不用not,而用其他如never,nothing等表否定的詞。如:Ididn’tgotobedIfinishedmyhomework.我直到完成作業(yè)才去睡覺。(4)since引導的時間狀語從句,表示“自……以來”,主句用一般現(xiàn)在時或現(xiàn)在完成時,從句用一般過去時。結(jié)構(gòu)為:Ithasbeen…since+從句/Itis…since+從句。如:IinthisschoolsinceIfromBeijingUniversity.自從北京大學畢業(yè)以后,我就一直在這所學校工作。Itis10yearssinceIbegantostudyEnglish.我學英語十年了。2.條件狀語從句(1)主句為祈使句、一般將來時或含有情態(tài)動詞時,從句用一般現(xiàn)在時。如:I’llseeyouoffifthereisnothingurgent.如果沒什么緊急的事情,我就去送你。(2)如果if引導的條件狀語從句所表示的前提或條件將來可以實現(xiàn)或正在進行,動詞要用現(xiàn)在完成時或進行時,主句通常用將來時。如:Wewillgiveyouagoodpriceifyouofbuyingit.如果你考慮買它,我們會給你一個好價錢。(3)“祈使句+and/or引導的結(jié)果狀語從句”中,祈使句在意義上相當于一個條件狀語從句。如:Useyourhead,andyou’llfindaway.=Ifyouuseyourhead,you’llfindaway.動動腦筋,你就會想出辦法來。3.原因狀語從句(1)原因狀語從句通常用because,since,as引導。這三個詞所表示的語氣由because到as逐漸減弱,由why提出的問題用because來回答。如:—Whyyoulooksotired?你怎么看上去那么累?—Istayedupforawholenight.我一夜未眠。(2)如果狀語從句所表示的原因是人們已知的事實,就要用since,而不用as或because。since在這里的意思是“既然”。4.目的狀語從句(1)引導目的狀語從句的詞或詞組有sothat,so,inorderthat等,謂語中常含有may,might,can,could,will,would等情態(tài)動詞。如:Hegetsupearlyeverymorningsothathecandosomereadingbeforehegoestowork.他每天早晨起得很早,以便上班前可以讀點書。(2)當從句與主句主語一致時,用soasto,inorderto。如:Heworkeddayandnightinorderthathecouldsucceed.=Heworkeddayandnightsucceed.他日夜工作為的是取得成功。5.結(jié)果狀語從句(1)由so...that,such...that引導。so...that與such...that的區(qū)別:so+形容詞或副詞+thatsuch+a/an+形容詞+名詞復數(shù)+thatsuch+形容詞+名詞復數(shù)+thatso+形容詞+a/an+名詞復數(shù)+that當名詞前面有many或much修飾時,用so而不用such。如:Itshassuchahighpricethatfewpeoplecanafford.=Itpriceishighfewpeoplecanafford.它的價格如此之高,以致于幾乎沒有人能支付得起。Wehavemuchtimethatwecanfinishtheworkverywell.我們有如此多的時間,以至于我們能很好地完成工作。(2)so…that句型的否定形式可用簡單句too…to…或not…enoughto代替。如:Heissoyoungthathecan’tgotoschool.=Heisyounggotoschool.=Heistogotoschool.他太小了,不能去上學。三、賓語從句引導詞引導的作用例句that本身無意義,只起連接作用,口語中可省略Hesaid(that)Katewasgoodatswimming.凱特擅長游泳。what,which,who,whose,whom等連接代詞在從句中作一定的成分,如主語、賓語、定語等Idon’tknowwhattheyaregoingtodo.我不知道他們打算干什么。Heaskedmewhosethebookis他問我這是誰的書。when(表時間),where(表地點),why(表原因),how(表方式)等連接副詞在從句中作狀語Couldyoutellmewhereyouarefrom?你能告訴我你來自哪兒嗎?Doyouknowhowtheyfoundtheplace?你知道他們是怎么找到那個地方的嗎?if/whether意為“是否”,不作句子成分,但不能省略HeaskedmeifMissGaoisateacher.他問我高小姐是否是一位老師。1.主句與從句時態(tài)一致的問題(1)如果主句是現(xiàn)在的某種時態(tài)(包括一般現(xiàn)在時、現(xiàn)在進行時、現(xiàn)在完成時),那么賓語從句的時態(tài)可根據(jù)實際情況而定。如:Irememberhetoldmewhohewas.我記得他告訴過我他是誰。HehastoldmethatheforNewYorktomorrow.他已告訴我明天他就動身去紐約了。(2)如果主句是過去的某種時態(tài)(包括一般過去時、過去進行時),那么賓語從句一定要用過去的某種時態(tài)(包括一般過去時、過去進行時、過去將來時、過去完成時)。如:Hetoldmethathewouldtakepartinthehighjump.他告訴我他將會參加跳高比賽。HeaskedmewhetherItoTianjin.他問我是否去過天津。(3)如果賓語從句表示的是客觀事實或真理,即使主句是過去時,從句也用一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)。如:Hetoldmethattheearthisround.(真理)他告訴我地球是圓的。Hesaidthathecoulddriveacarwhenhewas16.他說他16歲的時候就會開車了。(事實)2.賓語從句的語序賓語從句的語序要用陳述句的語序。在把兩個獨立的句子連成一個含有賓語從句的復合句時,要特別注意從句的語序,即按照主語、謂語的順序。如:What’sKate’se?mailaddress?Doyouknow?=DoyouknowwhatKate’se?mailaddressis?你知道凱特的e?mail地址嗎?3.賓語從句的連接詞(1)當賓語從句是陳述句時,用that引導。如:“Hebreakstherecord,”thehosttoldusexcitedly.=Thehosttoldusexcitedly(that)hebroketherecord.主持人激動地告訴我們他打破了紀錄。注意:引導詞that用于下列情況時不可省略:1)當賓語從句的主語是that時。如:Hesaysthatthatisausefulbook.2)當從句前有插入語時。如:Itsays,onthecard,thatitismadeinChina.3)當賓語從句中含有主從復合句時。如:I’mafraidthatifyou’velostit,youmustpayforit.4)當兩個或多個賓語從句由并列連詞連接時,除第一個從句中的that可以省略外,其余從句中的that都不可以省略。如:Hesaid(that)thefilmwasveryinterestingandthatheenjoyedseeingitverymuch.(2)含疑問語氣的句子構(gòu)成賓語從句時用whether或if連接,句尾的標點符號取決于主句。如:Areyoukidding?Heaskedmesurprisedly.=HeaskedmeIwaskiddingsurprisedly.他很驚訝地問我是不是在開玩笑。(3)當賓語從句是特殊疑問句時,連接詞就用原來的疑問詞,但一定要注意用陳述句語序。如:WhendidheleaveforJapan?Couldyoutellme?=CouldyoutellmewhenheleftforJapan?你能告訴我他什么時候去日本嗎?4.否定轉(zhuǎn)移在主從復合句中,當主句的主語為第一人稱,謂語動詞是think,believe,suppose等時,要將從句的否定詞轉(zhuǎn)移到主句時,即主句的謂語動詞用否定式,而從句的謂語動詞用肯定式。如:Idon’tthinkhewillleavewithoutconsideringoursafety.我認為他不會不考慮我們的安危就離開。5.賓語從句的簡化(1)當賓語從句的主語和主句的主語相同,且主句的謂語動詞是hope,wish,decide,agree,choose等時,從句可簡化為不定式結(jié)構(gòu)。如:IhopethatIcanliveinsuchabeautifulplace.=Ihopetoliveinsuchabeautifulplace.我希望能住在如此美麗的地方。(2)當賓語從句的主語和主句的主語相同,且主句的謂語動詞是know,remember,forget,learn等時,從句可簡化為“疑問詞+不定式”結(jié)構(gòu)。如:Shedoesn’tknowwhatsheshoulddonext.=Shedoesn’tknowwhattodonext.她不知道下一步該做什么。(3)當主句的謂語動詞是ask,tell,show,teach等,且賓語從句的主語和句子的間接賓語一致時,從句可簡化為“疑問詞+不定式”結(jié)構(gòu)。如:WillyoupleaseshowmehowIcanworkitout?=Willyoupleaseshowmeworkitout?請你告訴我怎樣把它解出來好嗎?(4)動詞seem后的賓語從句可用不定式(短語)來簡化,但句型要有適當?shù)淖兓?。一般地,通常將賓語從句的主語作為簡化的句子的主語,seem(適當時態(tài)形式)作謂語。如:Itseemsthatbasketballisveryinteresting.Basketballseemstobeveryinteresting.籃球似乎非常有趣。(5)賓語從句可以簡化為名詞或名詞短語。如:Idon’tbelievewhatTomsaid.=Idon’tbelieveTom’swords.我不相信湯姆所說的話。四、定語從句在復合句中作定語,修飾主句中某一名詞或代詞的從句,叫做定語從句。被定語從句所修飾的詞叫先行詞,通常位于定語從句之前。引導定語從句的是關(guān)系代詞that,which,who(whom,whose)和關(guān)系副詞when,where,why。關(guān)系代詞或關(guān)系副詞位于先行詞和定語從句之間,它既起連接作用,又充當從句的一個成分。含定語從句的復合句的基本結(jié)構(gòu)為:先行詞+關(guān)系詞+定語從句。關(guān)系代詞、副詞作用先行詞例句that,who,whom(只作賓語)主語、賓語、表語人Doyouknowthegirlwho/thathasgotan“A”intheexam?你知道考試中得“A”的女孩嗎?that,which主語、賓語、表語物、時間、地點、原因Shegotacomputerwhich/thatherparentsboughtforher.她有一臺電腦,這臺電腦是她父母買給她的。whose。定語人、物Themanwhosesondiedinatrafficaccidentlastyearisafamouswriter.那個男人是一位著名的作家,他的兒子去年死于一場交通意外when狀語時間IstillrememberthedaywhenyouleftforBeijing.我仍然記得你去北京的那一天。where狀語地點Thisistheschoolwheremymotherworks.這就是我媽媽工作的那個學校。why狀語原因Couldyouexplainthereason?whyyouwerelate?你能解釋一下你遲到的原因嗎?1.關(guān)系代詞的用法一般情況下,that既可指人又可指物,可以代替who,whom和which,在從句中作主語或謂語動詞的賓語,但不能作介詞的賓語;which指物,在從句中作主語或謂語動詞的賓語;who在從句中作主語;whom在從句中作賓語;whose在從句中作定語;where在從句中通常修飾表示地點的名詞,作地點狀語;when在從句中通常修飾表示時間的名詞,作時間狀語;why在從句中作原因狀語,先行詞通常是reason,有時why也可用“for+which”代替。如:Anurseisaperson先行詞who主語looks謂語aftersickpeople賓語.定語從句修飾先行詞who是關(guān)系代詞,在定語從句中作主語。句意:護士就是照顧病人的人。Thisisthefactory先行詞where地點狀語myfather主語worked謂語.定語從句修飾先行詞where是關(guān)系副詞,在定語從句中作地點狀語。句意:這就是我爸爸工作過的那個工廠。(1)下列情況下,只能用that引導,不能用who或which引導:1)當先行詞是all,little,much,none,everything,anything,nothing等代詞時。如:Isthereanything(that)youdon’tunderstand?你還有不懂的地方嗎?Tomtoldhermotherallhadhappened.湯姆把事情的全部情況告訴了他的媽媽。2)當先行詞前面有theonly,thevery,thelast等修飾時。如:Heistheonlypersonthatcanhelpyouout.他是唯一一個能幫你的人。(當先行詞是人時,也可用關(guān)系代詞who,whom引導)3)當序數(shù)詞或形容詞最高級修飾先行詞時。如:ThisisthebestbookIhaveeverread.這是我讀過的最好的書。4)當先行詞前面有only,all,any,no等修飾時。如:IwanttowatchallthemoviesweredirectedbyWangJiawei.我想把王家衛(wèi)執(zhí)導的電影全部看完。5)當主句是以疑問詞who或which開頭的特殊疑問句時。如:Whoistheboyisplayingfootball?正在踢足球的那個男孩是誰?(2)關(guān)系代詞的省略。一般情況下that,which,whom可以省略,但以下情況不能省略:1)關(guān)系代詞that在從句中作介詞的賓語時,不能省略,而且介詞不能放在that前面,只能放在從句中有關(guān)動詞的后面。如:Thewomanthatshetalkswithisherteacher.正在和她談話的人是她的老師。2)關(guān)系代詞which,whom在從句中作介詞賓語時,不能省略。介詞可以放在which,whom之前,也可以放在從句中有關(guān)動詞的后面,以使關(guān)系代詞緊跟它所修飾的先行詞。如:I’llneverforgetthedayonIjoinedtheclub.我永遠不會忘記我加入俱樂部的那一天。3)that,which,who在從句中作主語時,不能省略。如:WhoisthemanisarguingwithLilyunderthattree?那棵樹下,正在同莉莉爭吵的男人是誰?2.關(guān)系副詞的用法(1)when表示時間,在定語從句中作時間狀語。如:IstillremembertheyearyougraduatedfromNo.8MiddleSchool.我依然記得你從八中畢業(yè)的那一年。(2)why表示原因,在定語從句中作原因狀語,其先行詞只有表示原因的reason一詞。如:Wedon’tknowthereasonsheiscrying.我們不知道她為什么哭。(3)where表示地點,在定語從句中作地點狀語。如:ThatistheschoolIstudiedthreeyearsago.這就是三年前我就讀的學校。【易混易錯清單】一、when,if引導的時間狀語從句和賓語從句1.含有when,if引導的時間狀語從句的復合句中,若主句是一般將來時,從句應用一般現(xiàn)在時;when引導其他時態(tài)的時間狀語從句時,從句時態(tài)應與主句時態(tài)保持一致。2.when,if引導的賓語從句,首先要保證從句的陳述語序,然后再根據(jù)主句的時態(tài)確定從句時態(tài),使其基本與主句內(nèi)容保持意義上的一致。if充當賓語從句的連接詞時,相當于whether,詞意為“是否”,充當狀語從句的連接詞時,詞意為“如果”。when充當賓語從句的連接詞時,意為“什么時候”,充當狀語從句的連接詞時,意為“當……的時候”。如:Idon’tknowwhenmyfatherwillcomeback,butI’llaskhimtocallyoubackwhenhecomesback.我不知道我爸爸什么時間回來,但是他回來的時候我可以讓他給你回電話。Idon’tknowifhewillcomeback.Ifhecomesback,I’lltellyou.我不知道他是否會回來。如果他回來的話,我會告訴你。二、when,while,as的區(qū)別when,while,as引導的從句都可以使用延續(xù)性動詞。when,as都可以與終止性動詞連用,而while則不能。如:Hefellasleepwhen(while,as)hewasreading.他看書時睡著了。when可表示瞬間、時間段,與主句所敘述的動作、事情可同時發(fā)生,也可有先后。Iwillgo
