大學(xué)英語(yǔ)3考核大綱(CollegeEnglishIII)課程基本信息課程編號(hào):15002239課程學(xué)時(shí):32課程學(xué)分:2一、課程的性質(zhì)和地位《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)3》是為我校非英語(yǔ)專業(yè)一年級(jí)本科生(體育、舞表、環(huán)設(shè)、產(chǎn)品專業(yè))開(kāi)設(shè)的一門必修公共基礎(chǔ)課程,是一門提高學(xué)生綜合人文素養(yǎng)的重要課程,兼有工具性和人文性雙重性質(zhì),對(duì)于促進(jìn)大學(xué)生知識(shí)、能力和綜合素質(zhì)的協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展具有重要意義,在人才培養(yǎng)方面具有不可替代的重要作用。就工具性而言,大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程是基礎(chǔ)教育階段英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的提升和拓展,主要目的是在高中英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)一步提高學(xué)生英語(yǔ)讀、寫、譯能力。大學(xué)英語(yǔ)的工具性也體現(xiàn)在專門用途英語(yǔ)上,學(xué)生可以通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)與專業(yè)或未來(lái)工作有關(guān)的學(xué)術(shù)英語(yǔ)或職業(yè)英語(yǔ),獲得在學(xué)術(shù)或職業(yè)領(lǐng)域進(jìn)行交流的相關(guān)能力。就人文性而言,大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程重要任務(wù)之一是進(jìn)行跨文化教育。學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)和掌握英語(yǔ)這一交流工具,除了學(xué)習(xí)、交流先進(jìn)的科學(xué)技術(shù)或?qū)I(yè)信息之外,還要了解國(guó)外的社會(huì)與文化,增進(jìn)對(duì)不同文化的理解、對(duì)中外文化異同的意識(shí),增強(qiáng)民族文化認(rèn)同感和自信心,培養(yǎng)跨文化交際能力。二、理論教學(xué)部分的考核目標(biāo)教學(xué)評(píng)估是大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)的一個(gè)重要環(huán)節(jié)。通過(guò)考核檢測(cè)學(xué)生對(duì)本冊(cè)詞匯、語(yǔ)法、篇章及語(yǔ)用等知識(shí)的掌握情況,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生英語(yǔ)讀、寫、譯的語(yǔ)言技能的實(shí)際運(yùn)用能力,增加學(xué)生的社會(huì)、文化、科學(xué)等基本知識(shí)。它既是檢查教學(xué)大綱執(zhí)行情況、評(píng)估教學(xué)質(zhì)量的一種有效手段,又是教師獲取教學(xué)反饋信息、改進(jìn)教學(xué)管理方法提高學(xué)習(xí)效率的有效手段。UnitOneChangesintheWayWeLive(一)學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)1.一般了解:theculturalbackgroundrelatedtothecontent2.一般掌握:thenarrativeskillsdemonstratedinTextA(comparisonandcontrast,transitionalwordsanddevices)3.熟練掌握:keywords,phrasesandgrammaticalstructures(二)考核內(nèi)容能力考核:students’comprehensiveculturalliteracyandhumanisticthinkingabilitytoreflectandexpresstheirunderstandingoftheecologicalwisdomoftraditionalChineseculture.知識(shí)考核:1.importantwordsandphrases:getby,pursuetheschedule,illustrate,keepupwith,onbalance,cutback,asidefrom,ratherthan,whenitcomesto…etc.;grammaticalstructure:inversion;2.Wordformation:noun→verb,adjective→verb,verb→nounandadjective→noun;3.Confusablewords:home/house/household,suspect/doubt素質(zhì)考核:Studentscandialecticallyviewtheviewsoftheauthorsofselectedtextsintextbooks,carryouthigh-levelpracticaltrainingsuchasestablishingtheconceptofharmoniouscoexistencebetweenhumansandnature.(三)考核要求1.識(shí)記:theculturalbackgroundrelatedtothecontent2.領(lǐng)會(huì):differentlifeinthecityandinthecountryside,thehappinessandhardshipsofAmericanrurallife3.應(yīng)用:keywords,phrasesandgrammaticalstructures4.分析:oralandwrittenexpressiononthethemeofChangesintheWayWeLive5.綜合:masterandusethenarrativeskillsdemonstratedinTextA(comparisonandcontrast,transitionalwordsanddevices;“onetopicsentencewithseveralsupportingdetailsentences”pattern)6.評(píng)價(jià):finishon-linetestofUnit1;homeworkonChaoxingAPP;improvementofcriticalthinkingabilityUnitTwoCivilRightsHeroes(一)學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)1.一般了解:theculturalbackgroundrelatedtothecontent2.一般掌握:narrativewritingofeventsinhistory3.熟練掌握:keywords,phrasesandgrammaticalstructures(二)考核內(nèi)容能力考核:students’comprehensiveEnglishproficiency,especiallyhigh-levelreading,writing,andtranslationabilities;students’abilitytodeeplystudyandcompareChineseandWesterncultures,cultivatestudents’comprehensiveEnglishabilityandcriticalthinkingability,andfurtherenhanceculturalself-confidence;知識(shí)考核:usageofimportantwordsandphrasesinthetext:historic/historical;exploit;ontheside;closein(on);forge,abolish,compel,motivate,etc.素質(zhì)考核:Students’abilitytodescribeinEnglishthediscourserelatedto“justice”and“equality”inChineseculture,andsortoutthedevelopmentcontextandcoreessenceofrelevantexpressions;centeredongenderequality,conveyingnewinformationofthetimesandexploringthehistoricprogressmadebyChina.(三)考核要求1.識(shí)記:theculturalbackgroundrelatedtothecontent2.領(lǐng)會(huì):culturalbackgroundinformationoftheUndergroundRailroadinAmericancivil-rightsstruggles3.應(yīng)用:keywords,phrasesandgrammaticalstructures4.分析:oralandwrittenexpressiononthethemeofCivilRightsHeroesespeciallytheeventsinhistory5.綜合:narrativewritingofeventswithrepresentativestoriesandhowtoachievecoherenceinwriting6.評(píng)價(jià):finishon-linetestofUnit2;homeworkonChaoxingAPP;improvementofcriticalthinkingabilityUnitThreeSecurity(一)學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)1.一般了解:theculturalbackgroundrelatedtothecontent2.一般掌握:thenarrativeskillsdemonstratedinTextA(supportingcentralargumentwithfacts,comparisonandcontrast)3.熟練掌握:keywords,phrasesandgrammaticalstructures(二)考核內(nèi)容能力考核:Students’comprehensiveculturalliteracyandhumanisticthinkingabilitytodialecticallyviewtheissuesofsafetyandguncontrolintheUnitedStates,andgraduallycultivatecomparativeawarenessandculturalconfidencebetweenChinaandtheWest.知識(shí)考核:usageofimportantwordsandphrases:lookbackon,barrier,civilize,vulnerable,standfor,etc.grammaticalstructure:doublenegation素質(zhì)考核:Students’abilitytodialecticallyviewtheviewsoftheauthoroftheselectedtextofthetextbook,carryouthigh-levelpracticaltrainingsuchascross-culturalcomparisonandcriticalthinking,andexpandthebreadthanddepthofthinking;haveadeeperunderstandingoftheunderlyingcultureandbackgroundbehindtheselectedtopic,suchasthecontradictionbetweentherightofAmericancitizenstoownfirear
