一、課程性質(zhì)(定位)與任務(wù)
課程性質(zhì):商務(wù)英語(yǔ)專業(yè)綜合英語(yǔ)課程是一門專業(yè)理論課程,
以傳授專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)理論知識(shí)為主要任務(wù),旨在培養(yǎng)具有扎實(shí)的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言
基礎(chǔ)和廣博的文化知識(shí),為商務(wù)英語(yǔ)專業(yè)技能課程的學(xué)習(xí)打下扎實(shí)的
基礎(chǔ)。
21世紀(jì)是一個(gè)國(guó)際化的知識(shí)經(jīng)濟(jì)時(shí)代。我們培養(yǎng)的英語(yǔ)專業(yè)人才
應(yīng)具有扎實(shí)的基本功、寬廣的知識(shí)面、一定的相關(guān)專業(yè)知識(shí)、較強(qiáng)的
能力和較高的素質(zhì),也就是要在打好扎實(shí)的英語(yǔ)基本功的前提下掌握
商務(wù)方面相關(guān)知識(shí)。本教材注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獲取知識(shí)的能力、獨(dú)立思考
的能力,提高思想道德教育、文化教育和心理教育。
課程目標(biāo):通過(guò)本課程系統(tǒng)的學(xué)習(xí),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生具有扎實(shí)的英語(yǔ)基
礎(chǔ)知識(shí),形成對(duì)西方文化的基本認(rèn)識(shí),并培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獨(dú)立思考的能力以
及人文情懷。同時(shí)注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)以致用的能力,為學(xué)生畢業(yè)后在各
自的崗位進(jìn)行英語(yǔ)交流打下堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。同時(shí)為學(xué)生通過(guò)英語(yǔ)四級(jí)考
試以及其他資格考試服務(wù)。

后續(xù)課程:外貿(mào)英語(yǔ)函電、商務(wù)英語(yǔ)
二、課程目標(biāo)
知識(shí)目標(biāo):
(一)系統(tǒng)地傳播學(xué)生所必須掌握的英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)及語(yǔ)言點(diǎn),訓(xùn)練基
本的語(yǔ)言技能及運(yùn)用能力,為今后學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)實(shí)際運(yùn)用打下良好的基
礎(chǔ)。
(二)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生分析和解決問(wèn)題的能力,培養(yǎng)良好的聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、寫的能
力。
(三)在該階段掌握詞匯4000左右,并能進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)的語(yǔ)法,詞匯的
辨析。
(四)能獨(dú)立閱讀,聽(tīng)懂各種體裁文章,能寫出相當(dāng)四級(jí)水平的作文。
技能目標(biāo):
培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)以致用的能力以及英語(yǔ)交流、表達(dá)的能力,具有辯證
思維,客觀看待中西方文化差異,并在此基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)行有效地跨文化交
流。
素質(zhì)目標(biāo):
要求學(xué)生具有獨(dú)立思考的能力,具備人文關(guān)懷,對(duì)文化差異持包
容的態(tài)度,客觀評(píng)價(jià)中西文化,能夠做到取長(zhǎng)補(bǔ)短,最終形成自己對(duì)
中西方文化的科學(xué)認(rèn)識(shí)。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生團(tuán)隊(duì)合作、積極主動(dòng)、謙虛謹(jǐn)慎等
職業(yè)道德,以及準(zhǔn)確、流利地表達(dá)自身的觀點(diǎn),尊重他人的觀點(diǎn)等交
流的能力。
三、教學(xué)內(nèi)容及具體要求
本課程涉及語(yǔ)言、文化、習(xí)俗、倫理、信息、科學(xué)、社會(huì)焦點(diǎn)等
方面,注重選材的趣味性、信息性、實(shí)用性和時(shí)代性,題材廣泛,體
裁多樣。每單元討論某一話題,所選的文章從不同角度闡釋該話題,
課后題也有所側(cè)重,按單詞、詞組、句子、語(yǔ)篇的編排順序,步步為
營(yíng),層層深入,逐漸擴(kuò)大學(xué)生的詞匯量,培養(yǎng)語(yǔ)言,夯實(shí)英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)。
同時(shí),為學(xué)生搭起通向西方文化的橋梁。

四、教學(xué)手段及方法
教學(xué)方法直接關(guān)系到教學(xué)任務(wù)的完成和教學(xué)質(zhì)量的提高,要在批
判繼承原有教學(xué)方法的同時(shí),采用新的教學(xué)方法。
堅(jiān)持學(xué)生為主體,教師為主導(dǎo),在教師的指導(dǎo)下,以“練”為主
的教學(xué)方法。學(xué)生為主體就是要使學(xué)生成為教學(xué)的主人,充分調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)
生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性、最大限度地讓學(xué)生參與教學(xué)的全過(guò)程。教師為主導(dǎo),
就是打破教師中心論,又要充分發(fā)揮教師的指導(dǎo)作用,使學(xué)生在老師

專題性的研究式。開展豐富多彩的教學(xué)活動(dòng)。采用多種多樣的教學(xué)形
式。
堅(jiān)持課堂教學(xué)與課外實(shí)踐活動(dòng)相結(jié)合的教學(xué)方法。課外學(xué)習(xí)和實(shí)
踐是課堂教學(xué)的延伸和擴(kuò)展,是對(duì)課堂教學(xué)的鞏固和提高,是擴(kuò)大詞
匯量,提高閱讀能力的重要途徑,教師應(yīng)有計(jì)劃有目的地組織學(xué)生開
展形式多樣的學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng),如舉行作文比賽,單詞知識(shí)競(jìng)賽、舉辦英
語(yǔ)演講比賽、開展英語(yǔ)辯論等。
