綜合英語2(ComprehensiveEnglishII)課程基本信息課程編號:15062180h課程總學(xué)時:64實驗學(xué)時:0學(xué)時課程性質(zhì):必修課程屬性:基礎(chǔ)類開設(shè)學(xué)期:第2學(xué)期適用專業(yè):翻譯;核心對先修的要求:《綜合英語1》;詞匯量達到7000-8000,具備常見的英語語法知識,能聽懂簡單的英語,并能夠運用常見英語詞匯基本準(zhǔn)確地表達自己的思想觀點對后續(xù)的支撐:為后續(xù)各門英語課程的順利開展奠定必要的語言知識、技能和專業(yè)素養(yǎng)等方面的基礎(chǔ)一、課程的教學(xué)理念、性質(zhì)、目標(biāo)和任務(wù)本課程為翻譯專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)類必修課,也是該專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)階段的綜合技能課和核心課程之一。它是專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)階段全面提高學(xué)生的聽、說、讀、寫、譯等各方面能力的綜合技能課程,旨在培養(yǎng)和提高學(xué)生實際運用英語的能力;它與專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)階段旨在發(fā)展學(xué)生聽、說、讀、寫、譯等語言單項技能的課程相輔相成,使學(xué)生在得到語言技能的分項訓(xùn)練的同時,得到全面、嚴(yán)格的聽、說、讀、寫、譯等語言基本技能的整合性訓(xùn)練,達到對英語基礎(chǔ)語法和基本詞匯的熟練掌握和正確運用;它還致力于通過語言材料的課堂講解分析,讓學(xué)生了解英語各種文體的特點,幫助學(xué)生獲取不同文化的背景知識,拓寬學(xué)生的知識面,打開獨立思考的空間,使他們的批判思維能力得到發(fā)展,人文知識得到增長,人文素養(yǎng)得到提高,思想道德理念更加堅定。本課程既具有英語語言知識、言語技能和語言運用的綜合訓(xùn)練的教學(xué)性質(zhì),同時具有擴大學(xué)生文化視野和提高其人文素養(yǎng)與教育的性質(zhì)。本課程教學(xué)可以為學(xué)生的其他課程學(xué)習(xí)和進入高年級的學(xué)習(xí)打下扎實的語言和文化基礎(chǔ)。為達成以上目標(biāo),本課程秉持“以學(xué)生為中心”的教學(xué)理念,在加強教師課堂引導(dǎo)作用的同時,注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí)能力、創(chuàng)新性與批判性思維能力以及實際的英語語言應(yīng)用能力。二、課程教學(xué)的基本要求《綜合英語》課程的教學(xué)應(yīng)該與基礎(chǔ)階段其他單項技能課程的教學(xué)緊密配合,并注重“課程思政”建設(shè)。在課堂教學(xué)中,教師要始終堅持“以學(xué)生為中心”的教學(xué)組織原則,采用課前活動、課堂講授、討論、問答、辯論等形式多樣的課堂教學(xué)活動組織教學(xué),使學(xué)生在參與課堂語言教學(xué)和語言交際的活動中,在掌握基本語言知識的同時,發(fā)展他們的語言技能和交際能力,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對文化差異的敏感性、寬容性,對中國優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化的自豪感和自信心;課外應(yīng)輔以適量的閱讀、背誦、寫作等作業(yè),以及必要的輔導(dǎo)答疑來保障課程教學(xué)目標(biāo)的實現(xiàn)。此外,教師要加強學(xué)生的專業(yè)意識培養(yǎng),并在學(xué)習(xí)方法上給予學(xué)生指導(dǎo),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí)能力和終身學(xué)習(xí)理念。學(xué)生經(jīng)過一個學(xué)期的學(xué)習(xí)在語音、詞匯、語法、聽力、口語、閱讀、寫作、翻譯和文化素養(yǎng)等方面能夠基本達到《普通高等學(xué)校本科專業(yè)類教學(xué)質(zhì)量國家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》和《普通高等學(xué)校本科外國語言文學(xué)類專業(yè)教學(xué)指南》中的相關(guān)要求。三、課程的教學(xué)設(shè)計1.教學(xué)設(shè)計說明本課程遵循“以學(xué)生為中心,教師為引導(dǎo),產(chǎn)出為導(dǎo)向”的教學(xué)理念。通過設(shè)置課前活動環(huán)節(jié)和課前活動主題,增強學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí)能力和用英語講述中國故事的能力,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語言組織能力和口頭表達能力,提升學(xué)生對中國優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化的自豪感和自信心;通過背景知識介紹和跨文化對比,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對文化差異的敏感性、寬容性,提高學(xué)生的跨文化交際能力;組織討論、問答、辯論等形式多樣的課堂活動,幫助學(xué)生在掌握基本語言知識的同時,發(fā)展他們的語言交際能力、批判性思維能力和合作精神;設(shè)計與教學(xué)目標(biāo)和教學(xué)內(nèi)容相關(guān)的填空、翻譯、寫作、聽寫等形式多樣的作業(yè),對學(xué)習(xí)成效進行檢驗,并就學(xué)生表現(xiàn)及時給予反饋,以幫助學(xué)生不斷取得進步。2.課程目標(biāo)及對畢業(yè)要求的支撐序號課程目標(biāo)畢業(yè)要求1增加學(xué)生的英語語言文化知識,深化學(xué)生對中國國情和文化的理解,增強學(xué)生用英語講述中國故事的能力,提升學(xué)生聽、說、讀、寫、譯等方面語言應(yīng)用技能562引導(dǎo)學(xué)生樹立正確的世界觀、人生觀、價值觀,具備良好的思想道德品質(zhì)、人文素質(zhì)質(zhì)和心理素質(zhì);培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的國際視野和家國情懷,提升學(xué)生的民族自信心和自豪感123培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的跨文化、跨語言比較能力,對文化差異的敏感性和包容性,使學(xué)生能夠基本恰當(dāng)有效地進行跨文化溝通10114培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí)能力、合作精神、創(chuàng)新性與批判性思維能力和終身學(xué)習(xí)理念795培養(yǎng)學(xué)生利用現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)獲取、整合、傳播信息的能力8四、理論教學(xué)內(nèi)容及學(xué)時分配(64學(xué)時)共11周,每周6學(xué)時;至少完成8個單元的教學(xué),其他單元由學(xué)生自學(xué)。Unit2
