1、歷史學(xué)基地班（國(guó)家文科基礎(chǔ)學(xué)科人才培養(yǎng)和科學(xué)研究基地） 歷史學(xué)作為基礎(chǔ)學(xué)科，具有通識(shí)、交叉、跨學(xué)科的特點(diǎn)。通過(guò)課堂和課外教育，對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)、扎實(shí)的專業(yè)訓(xùn)練和素質(zhì)教育，鍛造具備“三基”（基本理論、基本史料、基本技能）、“四性”（系統(tǒng)性、科學(xué)性、思辨性與交融性），有學(xué)術(shù)創(chuàng)新能力的高層次、高質(zhì)量、少而精并具國(guó)際眼光的歷史學(xué)專門(mén)人才；以及受到系統(tǒng)的專業(yè)訓(xùn)練、具有歷史眼光和智慧的復(fù)合型應(yīng)用人才，適應(yīng)國(guó)家社會(huì)政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化發(fā)展多方面需要。要求學(xué)生系統(tǒng)學(xué)習(xí)中國(guó)歷史的基本知識(shí)，了解中華文明的過(guò)去、現(xiàn)在及其在世界文明中的地位與特點(diǎn)，掌握從事歷史學(xué)研究的基本理論、方法和技能，善于思辯和寫(xiě)作，初步具備獨(dú)立從事歷史學(xué)專業(yè)研究和跨學(xué)科人文社會(huì)科學(xué)研究的能力。 歷史學(xué)基地班由武漢大學(xué)歷史學(xué)院負(fù)責(zé)日常教學(xué)管理主要專業(yè)課程有：中國(guó)通史、世界通史、史學(xué)概論、中國(guó)歷史文獻(xiàn)學(xué)、中國(guó)史學(xué)典籍導(dǎo)讀、史學(xué)論文寫(xiě)作、中國(guó)文化史、中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)史、中國(guó)社會(huì)史、中國(guó)歷史地理以及各類專題課和專業(yè)選修課等。優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)生可被推薦免試攻讀碩士學(xué)位，其他畢業(yè)生可在高等院校、科研機(jī)構(gòu)從事教學(xué)與科研工作，在文化部門(mén)、政府機(jī)關(guān)、企事業(yè)單位從事行政管理、宣傳教育和文秘等工作。The Base Class of History (National Center for Talents Training and Scientific Research in Fundamental Arts Subjects)As a rudimentary subject, history is characterized by its general knowledge and interdisciplinary feature. Trough systematic and solid specialized training and quality education, both in class and out of class, we hope to train history specialists who are equipped with Three Basics-basic theory, basic historical materials and basic skills, and with Four Natures-systematicness, scientificness, speculation, and integration. Our students are academically innovative history specialists with broad international vision as well as interdisciplinary talents with wisdom and historical vision who have received systematic and professional training. Only in this way can our students adjust themselves to the development of politics, economics, and culture in our society. We require students to acquire the fundamental knowledge of Chinese history in a systematic way, so that they can understand the past and the current situation of Chinese civilization and its status and traits in world civilizations, and they can have a good command of the basic theories, methods, and skills of history research. Excelling in speculation and writing, our students are able to undertake research into history and interdisciplinary human and social science independently. The routine teaching of the Base class of History is arranged by the History School of Wuhan University. Our major courses include: General History of China, General History of World, Brief Introduction to Historiography, Literature Science of Chinese History, Guide to masterpieces of Chinese Historiography, Thesis Writing of Historiography, Cultural History of China, Economic History of China, Social History of China, Historical Geography of China and other special subjects and specialized selective courses.Excellent graduates have the opportunity to get a direct entry to postgraduate study through recommendations. Others can engage in the work of teaching and researching in universities and scientific institutes. The training goals set up by the base class are: through the intensive reading of the major Chinese, Western and Marxist philosophical classics and the intensive training of the thinking ability of philosophical theories and methodology, the students can have a solid foundation of philosophical theories and a systematic command of the professional knowledge relating to the history of Chinese, Western and Marxist Philosophy. Our objective is to combine with the characteristics of teaching in Wuhan University and to train high-level talents with solid and broad physical theories and professional skills as well as strong engineering and innovative spirits and adaptive abilities. Our students are highly potential and they possess perfect international communication abilities, so that they are competent to carry out the scientific research and teaching in physics and other relevant subjects. After further studies, our students can adapt themselves to the development trend of increasingly far-gone infiltration of different disciplines and can cope with the challenges brought by the new-tech revolution in the world.The routine teaching agenda is arranged and supervised by the School of Physical Science and Technology of Wuhan University. Meanwhile, we have our own characteristics in talents training pattern, management mechanism and operational mechanism. For instance, we adopt “rotating system” which means no permanent tenure of a teacher is guaranteed, and “three-tutor system” which means the combination of specialty tutor, occupational tutor and enterprise tutor. Moreover, some of our courses are held separately and employ bilingual teaching. Our class is sponsored by National Fund of Basic Scientific Talents Training, and we use this fund especially to train our students capacity of carrying out scientific research, and to encourage our students to participate in some subject research projects under their tutors direction.Our main basic courses include: Advanced Mathematics, Mathematical Methods of Physics, Classical Mechanics, Electromagnetics, Optics, Thermotics, Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics, Electrodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Solid-state Physics, Electronic Circuitry, Microcomputer Principles, Computational Physics, Experiments in General and Contemporary Physics, and etc. Our main selective courses include: Group Theory, Advanced Quantum Mechanics, General Relativity Theory, Introduction to Astrophysics, Introduction to Nuclear Theory, Particle Physics, Laser Principles, Information Optics, Nonlinear Optics, Electron Microscopic Analysis, and Integrated Circuit.50% of the graduate students have the opportunity to postgraduate study or to continuous academic project that involves both postgraduate and doctoral study through recommendations. Oriented towards the needs of national fundamental research and education, our aim is to train talented students with solid and extensive chemistry theories, chemistry experiment skills, and the ability to carry out scientific research on chemistry. Our students are creative talents with high comprehensive quality who have received training in interdisciplinary scientific research, high-tech research & development, and basics of computer applications.The routine teaching of the Chemistry Base class is arranged by the College of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences of Wuhan University. Our class is unique in the pattern of talents training, management mechanism and operational mechanism, such as home-and-abroad joint training, intramural and extramural joint training, bilingual teaching, repeated distribution and selection of students and so on.Our specialized basic courses include: Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Basic Experiments, Synthetic Experiments, and Characterization Experiments.
