As far as I know,there are no manmade objects as big as this. 2.大聲朗讀2d 對話,讀熟后與同伴結(jié)對練習(xí),分角色表演對話。3.邀請三組來表演對話。Language points1.population的用法.(1)population直接作主語時意為“人口數(shù)”,這時謂語動詞要用單數(shù)形式。但是如果部分人口(分?jǐn)?shù)、百分?jǐn)?shù))作主語,謂語用復(fù)數(shù)。(2)表示“某地有多少人口”有兩種表達(dá)方式: a.The population of 某地be數(shù)詞(該句型中population前用冠詞the); b.某地has a population of 數(shù)詞(people)(該句型中population前用冠詞a)。(3)“某地有多少人口”要用“What is the population of .?”或“How large is the population of .?”提問。(4)表示人口“多”要用huge或large修飾,表示人口“少”要用small修飾。2.as far as的用法(1)as far as意為“與一樣遠(yuǎn)”,“一直到” (在否定句中也可用 so far as)。(2)用于引申義,意為“就而言”,“從來看”,“盡所能”,“只要”(有時可用 so far as)。Exercise 單項選擇。1.How tall he is!
