Unit 6 An old man tried to moved the mountains.Section A 3 (Grammar focus-4c)一、教學目標: 1. 語言知識目標:1) 學習掌握下列詞匯:stepsister, prince, couple, smile, marry , get married, fit, fall in love2)進行一步復(fù)習鞏固學習Section A 部分所學的生詞和詞組。3)對詢問故事的開始、發(fā)展、及故事人物、情節(jié)等語句進行歸納總結(jié)。4) 掌握unless, as soon as, sothat的用法,并通過不同方式的練習,來熟練運用這些詞匯的用法。2. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標:多閱讀中國傳統(tǒng)文學名著,讓學生們明白中國傳統(tǒng)文化的博大精深,并吸取中國傳統(tǒng)文化中的精華。 二、教學重難點1. 教學重點:1) 復(fù)習鞏固Section A 部分所學的生詞和詞組,達到熟練運用的目標。2) unless, as soon as, sothat的用法。2. 教學難點:1) 動詞的正確形式填空。2) 掌握unless, as soon as, sothat的用法。三、教學過程Step 1 Revision1. Have a dictation of the new words learned in the last class. Review some main phrases we learned in the last class.一、按要求寫出下列詞匯或詞組。1. can (同義詞) _2. if not (同義詞) _3. named (同義詞) _4. 會72變化 (漢譯英) _5. 將變成 (漢譯英) _6. 如此以至于(漢譯英) _7. 一就 (漢譯英) _Answers: be able to, unless, called, make 72 changes, turn into, so that, as soon as2. Who, King 8. main character, Journey 9. cant turn, himself into 10. turn into, unless hide, tail Step 3 Grammar 1. unless是連詞,意為“除非;如果不”,引導條件狀語從句,含有否定意義,相當于if . not 。注意:unless引導條件狀語從句時,如果主句是一般將來時,從句用一般現(xiàn)在時表將來。如:Well go to the concert unless it doesnt rain. 2. as soon as是連詞詞組,引導時間狀語從句,意為“一就”。 as soon as引導的時間狀語從句中,若主句是一般將來時,從句用一般現(xiàn)在時表將來。如:My brother will look for a job as soon as he leaves school. 3. so . that表示“如此以至于”,常用于引導結(jié)果狀語從句。常見結(jié)構(gòu)為:“so +形容詞/副詞+ that從句”或“so +形容詞+ a / an +單數(shù)名詞+ that從句”。如:He was so excited that he couldnt say a word. It is so interesting a book that many people want to buy it. Step 4 New words Look at the big screen and learn the new words and expressions: 1. stepsister n. 繼姐(妹) e.g. Jennys father remarried and shes going to have a stepsister. 珍妮的父親再婚了,她將有一個繼妹。2. prince n. 王子 e.g. The witch changed the prince into a frog. 巫婆將王子變成了一只青蛙。3. fit v. 適合;合身e.g. The new shoes dont fit, so she gave them back.新鞋子不太合適,因此她將它退回了。4. couple n. 兩人;兩件事物 e.g. The new couple is moving in next week. 新婚夫婦下周遷入新居。5. smile v. 笑;微笑 e.g. Ms. Smith smiles at all the children. 史密斯老師向所有孩子們微笑。6. marry v. 結(jié)婚 作及物動詞時,后面必須跟賓語。常見錯誤表達方式:與某人結(jié)婚 marry with sb. e.g. He is going to marry Jane in May. 他將于五月與簡結(jié)婚。7. 常用詞組:get married (to sb.)e.g. My aunt got married to a lawyer last year. 去年我的姑姑嫁給了一位法官。 8. fall in love 愛上;喜歡上e.g. They fell in love at first sight. 他們一見鐘情。Step 5 PracticeWork on 4a: 1. Tell Ss to read the sentences in 4a and try to fill in the blanks with unless, as soon as, sothat. 2. 方法指導:首先,先閱讀所給的詞組,明確每個詞組的意思。 其次,通讀全句,理解大意;然后,根據(jù)句意及句子中上下文意的提示來確定空格處的意思。3.學生們,按老師指導的方法進行閱讀,并逐句推敲每空應(yīng)填什么詞組,在實際的運用中提高自己的閱讀能力、分析能力及綜合運用能力。 4. 最后,教師與同學們一起校對答案,并對學生們有疑問的地方進行解釋,或做出合理的分析點撥。 示例: 1. _ her father died, the stepsisters made her do all the chores. as soon as; 點撥:分析句子結(jié)構(gòu)可知,后一句“繼姐讓她做所有的家務(wù)”是主句,上一句“她的父親死后”應(yīng)是句子的時間狀語。因此,應(yīng)用as soon as 來引導時間狀語從句。 as soon as 意為“一就”,時態(tài)遵循“主將從現(xiàn);主過從過”的原則。 2. She was _ busy _ she had no time to make a dress for the party. so that; 點撥:分析句意可知“忙”所導致的結(jié)果是“沒有時間為聚會做一件禮服”。 so that 意為“如此以至于”,常用于結(jié)果狀語從句,表示上文動作所產(chǎn)生的結(jié)果,故空格處應(yīng)用sothat。前后句時態(tài),要保持一致。 3. The mice knew that _ they helped her make a dress, she would not be able to go to the party. unless; 點撥:句意“公主知道,除非他們幫她做一件禮服,她就會不能去參加那個晚會?!笨芍耙痪涫呛笠痪涞臈l件。 unless 意為“除非;如果不”,引導條件狀語從句,相當于if條件狀語從句的否定句;時態(tài)遵循“主將從現(xiàn);主過從過”的原則。 4. _ the prince saw her, he fell in love with her.as soon as;點撥:句意“王子一看到她,就愛上了她”,可知上一句應(yīng)為一時間狀語從句,故應(yīng)用as soon as來引導, 表示“一就”之意。 5. The prince knew _ the girls foot could fit the shoe, it was not the right girl. unless; 點撥:句意“王子知道,除非女孩的腳與鞋子合適,否則就不是他要的女孩”,可知上下句之間存在條件關(guān)系 故應(yīng)用unless一詞。6. The new couple were _ happy _ they couldnt stop smiling when they got married. 點撥:句意“這對新婚夫婦是如此的幸福,以至于他們不停地在笑?!?,可知上下文之間存在因果關(guān)系,“高興”的結(jié)果是“不停地在笑” ,故應(yīng)用sothat句式。Work on 4b: 1. 讓學生們閱讀短文,了解短文的大意,為進行填詞做好準備。2. 認真閱讀每個句子,分析句子的時態(tài),根據(jù)上下文確定括號中單詞應(yīng)該填的時態(tài)。3. 逐句進行分析推敲,確定括號中單詞的恰當時態(tài)。4. 最后,通讀一遍短文,進行綜合理解,看短文內(nèi)容是否通順,合理。5.
