Lead-inThe teacher talks with the students about the day, the weather, the weekend by using was ,were ,did eg: Whats the weather like today? What was the weather like yesterday? Were you at school yesterday? How was your last weekend? What did you do ?.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過和學(xué)生談?wù)搫倓傔^去的周末天氣和所經(jīng)歷的活動(dòng)自然引入一般過去時(shí)的運(yùn)用。 Step2. Talk about your last weekend 1) Ask the students to talk about their last weekend in pairs by using the similar conversations like the following.- Excuse me, How was your last weekend?- It was boring.- Really! What did you do ? - I stayed at home and did my homework. What about you? Did you have a relaxing weekend?- Yes, I did. / No, I didnt. I had a very busy weekend.- What did you do?- Well. Did youYes, I did. / No, I didnt.2) Choose some pairs to show their conversations.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過對(duì)話中語言使用的準(zhǔn)確性來檢查學(xué)生對(duì)一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的掌握情況。3) Ask other students to retell what their classmates did last weekend.Eg: had a boring weekend. He just stayed at home and did his homework. had a very busy weekend. On Saturday morning she設(shè)計(jì)意圖:檢測(cè)其他學(xué)生傾聽的能力和獲取信息的能力。 讓學(xué)生運(yùn)用一般過去時(shí)進(jìn)行復(fù)述。Step3. Grammar FocusT: Just know you talked about your last weekend. During your talk, you use the Simple Past Tense. Do you know the Simple Past Tense?1) Get the students to recall the usage of the Simple Past Tense. 2) Ask the students to say the general way of judging the Simple Past Tense. Show the words and the phrases like yesterday/ last night/ two days ago / in 1990/ just now 3) Ask the students to translate the sentences.我昨天早上6:30起床。(I got up at 6:30 yesterday morning.)他媽媽上星期上班晚。(His mother went to work late last week.)設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生回顧一般過去時(shí)的基本用法和特征性時(shí)間狀語。Step4. Helens Last Weekend1) Ask the students to fill the blanks with the correct forms according to the context.Helen _(is) busy last weekend. On Saturday morning she _(get) up at 6:00 oclock. She _(go) to school by bike. She _(work) all day at school. On Saturday night she _(stay) at home and _(study) with her son in Xinqi. But on Sunday she _(live) in Honglian. She was so tired that she _ (stop) doing anything and _(relax) herself all the morning. In the afternoon, She _(write) something for her English lesson. On Sunday night, she _(have) to work and _(sleep) late. 設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過短文填空來了解學(xué)生對(duì)一般過去時(shí)的掌握程度。 2) Ask the students to find the regular verbs and the irregular verbs in the article above first, and then ask them to conclude the rules of regular verbs and irregular verbs.規(guī)則動(dòng)詞的過去式 : stayed,relaxed,一般在動(dòng)詞原形末尾加-ed;lived,結(jié)尾是e的動(dòng)詞加-d;stopped,結(jié)尾只有一個(gè)輔音字母的重讀閉音節(jié),雙寫該輔音字母,加-ed;studied,以輔音字母加y結(jié)尾的動(dòng)詞,變y 為i加-ed;Stayed,以元音字母結(jié)尾的動(dòng)詞,直接加-ed。設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生通過觀察動(dòng)詞的形式變化歸納一般過去時(shí)動(dòng)詞的變化規(guī)則。不規(guī)則動(dòng)詞 : iswas getgot go went writewrote havehad sleep sleptShow more irregular verbs and ask the students to tell the past tense of these verbs.runran sitsat beginbegan drinkdrank swimswam singsangcomecame givegave makemade eatate .設(shè)計(jì)意圖:熟記不規(guī)則動(dòng)詞的一般過去時(shí)形式,在不規(guī)則中找出相對(duì)的變化規(guī)則。Step5. Ask questions about Helens Last WeekendGet the students to ask questions with What, When, Where, How, Why, Who, How long See if the can use the special questions of the Simple Past Tense correctly.Eg: What did Helen do last Sunday afternoon? How did Helen go to school Last Saturday?Ask students to conclude the general features of the sentence structure.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生以What, When, Where, How, Why, Who, How long 等特殊疑問句式對(duì)Helen在上周末中所做的事情進(jìn)行提問,使學(xué)生在運(yùn)用中體會(huì)一般過去時(shí)特殊疑問句的基本結(jié)構(gòu)特點(diǎn)并予以歸納。Step6. Mr Beans Last WeekendT: My son always says his weekends are boring, some of you say so. We do the same things on weekends. But some people dont. Whos this man, do you know him? Show a picture of Mr Bean. His last weekend is quite different. Lets see.Show some pictures and phrases: do some shopping, play sports with his friends, drive his car to have afternoon tea with a boy, dance on the street, ride an old bike to the mountain, go to the beach, eat sea food, write a travel diaryAsk the students to talk about the pictures by using phrases like this: Mr Bean went some shopping last Saturday morning 設(shè)計(jì)意圖:以學(xué)生感興趣的喜劇人物Mr Bean的上周末活動(dòng)為線索,拓展周末活動(dòng)的使用詞匯,彌補(bǔ)因?qū)W生周末活動(dòng)類同造成使用動(dòng)詞狹窄
