You must be on time.Dont listen to music in class. Dont run in the hallways.Dont fight. We must follow the rules.(3) Train students ability of listening and speaking.Train students ability of understanding.2. Method Objectives in Teaching(1) Listening and speaking method.(2) Pair work and group work.(3) Observing method.3. Greeting and Leading-in ( 2mins) Greet the class as usual and talk about the time and the date.Step 2. Brainstorm : Team Contest (5mins)1. Divide students into 2Groups.2. Ask students to make sentences using “ I can or I cant”, then give students stars.Step 3. Leading-in (3mins)First, ask students what they can do .Then ask one of the boys if he can play basketball. And tell him that he cant play it in the classroom. After that ,show a piece of bread and ask a girl whether she can eat in class, at last, white down the new title “ Dont eat in class.”T: Can you swim?S1: No, I cant.T: Can you play basketball?S2: Yes, I can.T: Can you play basketball in our classroom?S2: No, I cant.T: So we cant play basketball in our classroom, right?So dont play basketball in our classroom. T: Can you eat the bread in class? S3: No, I cant.T: So we cant eat in class, right?Dont eat in class. Today lets learn Unit4 Dont eat in class.Step 4. Presentation (10mins)1. Show some pictures and then learn new words and phrases. Make students read and repeat them, then give students stars.2. Ask students to try to use the words and phrases to make new sentences. Give students stars.E.g. T: What are the rules? S1: He cant run in the hallways. T: Yeah, you did a good job.T: What are the rules? S2: She cant eat in class. T: Yeah, you did a good job.Show the five school rules, read and repeat.Step 5 Pair work (7mins) Ask class to make new dialogues in pairs by using the given words and phrases, then ask some pairs to show. Help class check the mistakes,then give students stars.Step 6 Listening 1b. (5mins)1.Play the recorder three times , then ask students fill in the blanks and find out who Amys friend is in picture 1a. 2.Ask some students to check the answers.3. Give students stars.Step 7Guessing Game (P.K) (6mins) 1. Ask some students to choose their favorite letters and ask them to tell others what the rules are, then give students stars.2.
