Students are able to understand the passage and use the main sentences In real language situation.B. We can foster students good diet habbits.2.Key and difficult points:Key point: Students are able to learn the main sentences structure : What are these? They are tomatoes . Are these carrots ? Yes , they are ./ No, they arent. in real language environment .Difficult points : The plural style of tomato.3.Teaching preparations : PPT word cards 4.Teaching stepsStep 1 Warm - up 1. Listen and follow to sing an English song Spring.2. Greetings Step2 Presentation and Practice1. Ill create a mysterious situation : Mary , John and Mike went to a mysterious place. You can see the colorful fruit flowers and kinds of vegetable plants; You can hear the sound of horses, hens, sheep and ducks. Where is it ? Then we will guide out the new word :farm .2. I will show the picture of apple and apples and ask: Whats this ? What are these? Guide students to grasp the key sentences in free talk environment. At the same time I will present the key sentences on the blackboard.3. I will show a picture of a white rabbit and ask : What does the rabbit like to eat ? Does she like to eat bananas ? By the question I will show the pictures of carrot and carrots. 4. I will take out a box and ask one student to smell ,he should tell others Whats in the box? I will ask simultaneously : Are these carrots ? Are these bananas ? And guide them to answer: Yes, they are ./No ,they arent. Then I will take out the real thing yellow tomatoes and say : These are tomatoes . They are yellow and sweet . You can try some .Step3 Consolidation and Extension 1. Watch the video twice and understand the passage .2. Read the dialogue in their groups by different roles .3. Ill take out more things , such as apples ,bananas , peaches , tomatoes and carrots and encourage students to create a new dialogue in groups.Step4 Summary 1. I will play the main song of the unit and ask to students to sing and dance together. Students will end the class in loose and pleasant learning enviorment.Step5 Homework 1.Listen and read the dialogue twice and talk about the class with parents.5.Blackboard D
