There is no bridge.You want to know how Difficulties (教學(xué)難點(diǎn))1. 理解文章內(nèi)容,正確回答問(wèn)題。2. 用所學(xué)知識(shí)寫(xiě)出完整的文章。Teaching steps (教學(xué)步驟)Step 1. Warm-up and revision(課堂熱身和復(fù)習(xí))Talk about different ways of going to school.Step 2. Work on 2a 觀察題目和圖片進(jìn)行預(yù)測(cè)Now class, lets look at the title and the picture of a newspaper passage, What is the title? Can you read it, please? Yes. Now lets also look at the picture. Are the people in the picture old or young? Are they teachers or students? Whats under them? Is it dangerous? Lets say youre one of them, and you go to school this way every day, are you afraid?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生讀題目看圖,預(yù)測(cè)將要讀到的內(nèi)容。教師應(yīng)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生關(guān)注圖中人物。Step 3. Work on 2b讀前活動(dòng),了解閱讀任務(wù)Now, please read the questions.細(xì)讀短文,完成任務(wù)Now, please read the passage twice. Answer the questions.第一遍閱讀,讓學(xué)生獲取活動(dòng)內(nèi)容,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生關(guān)注閱讀內(nèi)容,從中提取有用信息;第二遍閱讀,獲取具體信息以完成具體任務(wù),即能回答問(wèn)題,并找出能回答這個(gè)問(wèn)題的句子。課堂討論,核對(duì)問(wèn)題答案Now, please discuss in groups to get the answers to the questions.第四個(gè)問(wèn)題的最后一問(wèn)是開(kāi)放性的,學(xué)生的回答合理即可。跟讀、齊讀、自讀短文,提高口語(yǔ)和聽(tīng)力First, read the passage after me. For many students, it is easy to get to school.對(duì)于許多學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō),上學(xué)很容易。 1) many adj. pron. 許多 表示“多”的意思,可用many, much, a lot of, lots of 等。但是many, much常用于否定句和疑問(wèn)句,而a lot of等則常用于肯定句。例如: I havent seen many English films. 多數(shù)英文電影我沒(méi)看過(guò)。(many修飾可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù),表許多) There is much water in the bottle.瓶子里有許多水。(much修飾不可數(shù)名詞,表量或程度。) The boy had a lot of pocket money.這男孩有許多零花錢。You have lots of time to finish the work.你有充裕的時(shí)間來(lái)完成這項(xiàng)工作。 注:lots ofa lot of 后面接可數(shù)名詞和不可數(shù)名詞均可,接可數(shù)名詞時(shí)謂語(yǔ)用復(fù)數(shù),接不可數(shù)名詞時(shí),謂語(yǔ)用單數(shù)。2) It is + adj. (for sb.) to do sth. (對(duì)某人來(lái)說(shuō))干某事是 It is interesting for me to play computer games. 對(duì)我來(lái)說(shuō)玩電腦游戲很有趣。2. There is a very big river between their school and the village. 在他們的學(xué)校和鄉(xiāng)村之間有一條大河。 between and 在和之間例如: Can you tell me the difference between Lucy and Lily? 你能告訴我露西和莉莉之間的不同嗎?3. There is no bridge and the river runs too quickly for boats. (河上)完全沒(méi)有橋梁,而且河水湍急,不宜小船擺渡。 1) 此句是英語(yǔ)否定結(jié)構(gòu)的一種。當(dāng)no 用于構(gòu)成否定句,主要用于名詞之前,強(qiáng)調(diào)否定其后的名詞,表現(xiàn)“完全不;根本沒(méi)有?!崩纾篢here are no computers in that small mountain village. 在那個(gè)小山村里根本就沒(méi)有電腦。 There is no milk in the fridge.冰箱里沒(méi)有牛奶。2) run 表示“跑,奔;液體的流動(dòng)”,在不同語(yǔ)境中分別有不同的用法和含義。例如: I run back to my room and get my bag. 我奔回房間拿自己的提包。 The river runs into the sea.這條河流入大海。 I have a bad headache and my nose runs a lot. 我頭痛得很厲害,而且我的鼻涕很多。4. One 11-year-old boy, Liangliang, crosses the river every school day. 亮亮,一個(gè)11歲男孩,每天過(guò)河上學(xué)。 1)11-year-old 構(gòu)成一個(gè)復(fù)合形容詞,修飾名詞boy。請(qǐng)注意其中的year之后沒(méi)有復(fù)數(shù)詞尾-s。這一構(gòu)詞結(jié)構(gòu)較為常見(jiàn)。例如: a four-day trip 一個(gè)四天的旅行 a 30-page book 一本30頁(yè)的書(shū) a three-room house 一個(gè)三間屋的房子2)cross 作動(dòng)詞用,“穿過(guò),越過(guò)”的意思。主要表示在物體表面上橫穿。如橫過(guò)馬路、過(guò)橋、過(guò)河等,與go across同義。例如: Be careful when you cross the street.過(guò)馬路時(shí)要小心。辨析 cross, across與through (1) across是介詞,有“橫跨,橫穿,穿越”之意。 例如: 綠色長(zhǎng)城橫跨中國(guó)西北。 The Great Green Wall is across the northwest ofChina. (2) through是介詞,“在之中,透過(guò)”的意思,主要表示從物體內(nèi)部穿過(guò)。如穿過(guò)森林、隧洞等。例如: The two friends were walking through the forest.這兩個(gè)朋友正沿著森林走。5. But he is not afraid. 但是他不害怕。 afraid adj. 害怕的;畏懼的 Are you afraid of snakes? 你怕蛇嗎? Children feel afraid when they are at home alone. 孩子獨(dú)自自己在家, 感到害怕。 Im afraid to speak in front of other people. 我害怕在其他人面前發(fā)言。 be afraid to do sth. 害怕做某事 afraid of sth. / sb. 怕某事/某人 afraid of v -ing 怕做某事注意:1. afraid是表語(yǔ)形容詞 2. I am afraid有時(shí)指I am sorry。 Im afraid we cant come. 很抱歉,我們不能來(lái)。6. Hes like a father to me.對(duì)于我來(lái)說(shuō),他像一個(gè)父親。 like prep. 像 The baby is like his mother. = The baby looks like his mother.這個(gè)小嬰兒長(zhǎng)得像他媽媽。 What is like? 怎么樣? What is the weather like today? 今天的天氣怎么樣?7. Many of the students and villagers never leave the village. 許多學(xué)生和村民從未離開(kāi)過(guò)村莊。 leave v. 離開(kāi) Please turn off the light when you leave. 走時(shí)請(qǐng)關(guān)燈。 The train will leave in a second. 列車馬上要開(kāi)了。Step 6.Group work:Step 7. Work on 3a讀前看圖,猜測(cè)交通方式First, look at the picture. Can you guess what the e-mail is about? (About how to get to school.)Good, you are right.讀懂要填的詞義,消除學(xué)生的任務(wù)障礙。Now look at the words in the box. Do you know the meaning of them? Lets read together齊讀單詞或詞組,讓學(xué)生說(shuō)出漢語(yǔ)意思學(xué)生獨(dú)立閱讀3a,完成填空任務(wù)。Now, please fill in the blanks with the words in the box. You can ask for help or discuss with others.Ok, check your answers.找一兩個(gè)學(xué)生說(shuō)出自己的答案,如有錯(cuò)誤,分析錯(cuò)誤原因。(提醒學(xué)生注意前面或后面搭配的詞)集體、分組朗讀,進(jìn)一步熟悉課文Lets read the e-mail together.Read in groups.再次閱讀,回答問(wèn)題,為3b作鋪墊Now, read Toms e-mail again and answer the following questions. 1When does he leave home?2How does he get to school?3How far is it from his home to school?4How long does it take him to get to school?5How is his trip to school?讓學(xué)生在3a中劃出答案所在的句子,為3b的寫(xiě)作做準(zhǔn)備。朗讀含有答案的5句話Step 8. Work on 3b 根據(jù)問(wèn)題提示,仿寫(xiě)e-mailFirst, lets read the questions together. Then write an e-mail to Tom. You can use 3a for help. 學(xué)生進(jìn)行仿寫(xiě)練習(xí),教師巡視指導(dǎo)。教師應(yīng)當(dāng)關(guān)注兩點(diǎn):1e-mail格式是否正確;2學(xué)生語(yǔ)言的正確性;3語(yǔ)篇的連貫性。課堂點(diǎn)評(píng)及交流,收集學(xué)生優(yōu)秀寫(xiě)作相互學(xué)習(xí)Now, we have got so many great writings.
