Module 7 Unit 1 New York is in the east教學設(shè)計Step 1: Warming up 1、GreetingT : Hello boys and girls , nice to see you? Today, well study here together Are you happy?S: Yes.T:My Chinese name isZhou Kaihua,and my English name is Smile.So you can call me MissZhou ,and you can also call me Smile.(用課件出示)(教學單詞call also。注意字母組合al)2、Lets sing an English song : London bridge is falling down. (學生跟著課件,邊唱邊拍手,把學生帶入歡樂的學習英語的氛圍)Step 2 Presentation: (呈現(xiàn)新知)1.T:Where is the London bridge? Ss:Its in England.T:In England there are many beautiful places.T: Now,please look at the pictures.They are About England. What are they?Ss:They are Backingham Palace, River Thames, Big Ben, Hyde Park, Tower Bridge. Can you say something about them? (The students talk about the places of interests. And then describe them using adjectives. ) T: Do you know where they are?S: They are in London.T: Yes, London is the capital of England. (讓學生看圖描述) (通過課件,展示倫敦四個著名景點的圖片,談?wù)撽P(guān)于倫敦和英國的信息。因為前面已經(jīng)學習過,學生們會很流利地用英語表達,從而對新知識的學習充滿了信心。)T: Are the pictures beautiful? They are all in Amys country -England.(教學單詞country,并提示學生該單詞的復(fù)數(shù)countries. 學生書空單詞,教師板書課題Module 7countries) T: Youve done a very good job just now. You know England very well.Do you know other country well? Lets guess: Its bigger than England and smaller than China. People speak English there, (教學單詞speak)and they like NBA very much, Yao Ming plays basketball in it. Which country is it?Ss:Its(教師趁機用課件教學單詞Amercia,出示美國國旗以及單詞Amercia,屏幕上出現(xiàn)America,學生跟讀、練習) America is also called the USA.(屏幕上出現(xiàn)the USA跟讀,練習)呈現(xiàn)任務(wù):Amercia is also called the USA.Today well walk around America,learn something about America.2.、學習三個城市名稱、方位詞、新句型:T:Now class,look at these pictures,do you know these American cities?who can tell us ?You may speak Chinese.(學生看大屏幕上三個城市的圖片,用漢語講述一下這三個城市,對所學的新知有了初步地感知。)Teach the words about three cities: Washington D.C. New York and San Francisco .(課件上先出現(xiàn)三個城市的圖片,每個圖片都標有單詞,鼠標點擊單詞,孩子們會聽到單詞的正確發(fā)音,圖片聲音相結(jié)合。)Ask the students to watch the CAI and learn to say the words about the cities. Do you want to know more about America? Daming finished a project about America, lets see together how he introduced to Sam. There are some pictures about America. OK, Lets have a look.Show the pictures of Washington D.C. T: Which city is it?Ss: Its Washington D.C.T: Washington D.C. is the capital of the USA.T: Where is washington D.C.?T: Its in the east. (Teach.: east)T: Please say something about Washington D.C. with your partner.Show the pictures of New York .T: Which city is it?Ss: Its New York.(Teach: New York) T: Where is New York?Ss: New York is in the east, too.T: And its very big.T: Please say something about New York with your partner.Show the pictures of San Francisco .T: Which city is it?Ss: Its San Francisco.(Teach: San Francisco)T: Where is San Francisco ?T: San Francisco is a nice city. (1)Look at my mouth carefully.(2)Say and do the actions.(3)Practise the words in pairs.T: T: New York is in America .Ss: Washington D.C. is in America .Ss: San Francisco is in America .(在老師引導(dǎo)的基礎(chǔ)上,后面2個句子要求學生獨立表達。)3、Play a game : Whats missing ? Look at the screen carefully and find which city is missing ?(看課件,快速閃過三個城市,然后定格在兩個或者一個城市上面,要求學生迅速說出少了哪個? 通過游戲的形式復(fù)習鞏固了所學的新單詞。)4、單詞巧計:鞏固練習方位詞T: Now were going to learn four directions .Lets look at the sign .Its east /west /south /north .(看方位圖標,分別學習東西南北四個單詞)(1) Read after the CAI.(2) Pay attention to the pronunciation (3) Practice the new words . (4) Listen and point: Point to the east, point to the west(5)Learn to say : the east,the west ,the south , the north.(6) Learn to say : in the east, in the west(7) Say a chant.T: Boys and girls ,youve done a very good job . Are you tired ? Now, lets say a chant.East,east, its in the east.West,west,its in the west.South south ,its in the south.North north ,its in the north.(課件上出現(xiàn)了韻句,學生隨著音樂一邊做動作,一邊說韻句)5. Listen and draw (聽音貼圖)e.g. Tsay :The house is in the east. Ss draw the house in the east.(通過此環(huán)節(jié)鍛煉學生聽力,并與美術(shù)學科相結(jié)合,達到學科整和)3 Prectice1.T: Tell students that Sam and Daming are talking about America . How many cities can you hear?What are they?Where are Sam and Daming ?. Studeuts listen and think. Then answer the questions. (培養(yǎng)學生聽音,理解的能力)2.小組合作找出課文中的生詞和短語。并有值日小組代表板書到黑板上。如果那一個小組還有黑板上沒有板書的生詞和短語就補充上去。教授單詞cousin,right, there,project.3. 聽聽做做。(TPR教學和小組活動使同學們帶著極大的學習熱情進入練習階段)教師在黑板上畫好方向圖,讓學生聽教師的口令面向哪個方向。(T: Turn to the south, west, north, east.)4.聽城市的名稱,在美國地圖上快速指出華盛頓,紐約,舊金山的位置,并用英語句子介紹城市的位置,Its in the east/ west .(小組活動,進行比賽)5、Sing a chant.Where is New York? Its in the east?Where is Washington? Its in the east?Where is San Francisco? Its in the west?6、According to the pictures, write down the correct name of the country,and make sentences with “ is the capital of .” Step4 Production(知識拓展):1、Walk around America. 走遍美國 T: Its time for walk around America. You know America well. Now, please describe some cities of America. (1)Please prepare in groups of 4. (學生互相交流搜集的資料。)(2)Show it.2、T: Now ,lets do some exercises. Look ,this is a map of China ,there are some cities .They are Beijing, Shanghai,Lhasa, Qingdao and Sanya.Lets talk about the locations in groups. (Show a picture of China, and sign some cities. Ask students to talk about the Chinese cities.
