Students read the passage aloud, Then finish matching in 2c.2. Ss fill in the chart about Zhu Huis family and Zhu Huis host family.Step6 Group competition T: We know ZhuHui misses his family and he is talking on the phone with his cousin. What are they talking. Ss: . T : If you were Zhu Hui, your partner is his cousin, make a phone call and tell us what they are talk about. (1)Two students in a pair, make a phone call all between Zhu Hui and his cousin. (2)Ask some pairs to show us their conversation. (3) Judge which pair did best.Step7 Cultural background Get students to know the national hero “Qu Yuan” and educate them to love our country.
