I read about this man, he was very down and discouraged. He went to his minister (and) said, “Nothing is going right in my life. He said, “Im going to write down all of your assets on this side, all of the things right in your life. On the other side, Im going to write down all your challenges, all these problems that are bothering you.”牧師說道：“我們來做個(gè)測試吧?！彼贸鲆槐居浭虏?，在中間畫了一條直線。牧師說：“我要把你所有的財(cái)產(chǎn)寫在線這邊，就是你已經(jīng)擁有的所有東西。線的另一邊要寫下困擾你的所有挑戰(zhàn)和難題?！盩he man laughed and said, “Im not going to have anything to put on the assets side.” The minister said, “Thats fine, lets just go through the exercise.” And the man kind of hung his head down. The minister said, “Im so sorry to hear that your wife passed away.” He looked up abruptly, “What are you talking about? My wife didnt pass away - shes alive, shes healthy.” He said, “Oh!” He wrote down: Has a healthy wife, thats alive.這個(gè)男人笑著說道：“我沒有什么財(cái)產(chǎn)可以寫到線的這邊?！蹦翈熣f：“沒事兒，我們就來測一測吧！” 男人低頭不語。牧師說：“聽說你妻子去世了，我很難過。”男人立刻抬頭說道：“你說什么呢！我老婆沒有死，她還活著，很健康呢！”牧師“哦！”了一聲，寫到：有一個(gè)健康的妻子，還活著。He said, “Well Im really sorry to hear that your house burnt down.” He said, “My house didnt burn down, Ive got a nice house.” He said, “Oh!” (and) wrote it down: Has a nice house.牧師又說：“聽說你的房子被燒了，我很難過?！薄拔业姆孔記]有被燒掉啊，我的房子很不錯(cuò)！”男子說到。牧師一邊“哦”，一邊寫下來：有一處不錯(cuò)的房子。He then said, “Im very sorry to hear that you got laid off, that you lost your job.” The man said, “Where are you getting all this nonsense? I didnt lose my job - Ive got a good job!.” He said, “Oh!” (and) wrote it down: Has got a good job.接著牧師說：“聽說你下崗了，失業(yè)了，我很難過。”男人回答道：“你都從哪里聽到這些事情的？我沒有失業(yè)，我的工作很好！”牧師又寫到：有一個(gè)好工作。The man finally caught on - he said, “Give me that list.” He wrote down another dozen good things, (and) before he got finished he walked out of there with a whole new attitude.男人終于明白過來，說：“把清單給我?！彼謱懴乱淮檬虑椤＿€不等他自己寫完，已經(jīng)完全轉(zhuǎn)變了態(tài)度。What happened? His perspective was off. When he began to focus on the good, he got his enthusiasm back. And if you struggle with staying encouraged, and if you struggle with staying grateful.you too need to make a list of all the things that God has blessed you with. If you have your health, write it down: Im healthy. If you can see, write it down: I can see.
