I know you are taking the gender differences course of Dr. Brown. How is it?W: It is very interesting. Dr. Browns class is always very popular among the students. M: You must like it very much. W: Sure. Ive learned so many new things in his class. It provides me with new ways to understand people and arouses my research interest. M: It sounds really fun. Whats it about?W: Its about the differences between men and women in behavior, psychology and so on. M: Oh. How long have you been taking the course?W: For two months. Each week we have a 45-minute class. We finished half of our textbook. Im learning to observe people from different angles. 三問(wèn)部分:Question 1: What do you learn from the course?Answer 1: Ive learned that men and women are different in many aspects. For example, generally, men are physically stronger than women. And women do better than men in learning languages. Question 2: How do you know that women can do better in learning languages?Answer 2: Well, research shows that baby girls usually pick up language earlier and they are better at it than baby boys. And usually there are many more girls than boys in language schools. For example, in our English Department, there are 80 girls and only 28 boys.Question 3: What are the differences in their behavior?Answer 3: Thats even more interesting. Usually, men tend to use more direct body language, stand more still and occupy more space. Dr. Brown tells us that on many business occasions, this body language shows power and certainty. So many businesswomen tend to use this manly body language. 五答部分:Question 1: What does the course cover?Answer 1: The differences between men and women in behavior, psychology and so on.Question 2: How long is one class? Wherever Mary went, she brought the dog along, going shopping, working in the garden or having dinner with friends. Mary was an adventurous sports fan. And one day, Mary went to a big mountain with the dog for camping. Unfortunately, when she was taking some pictures of the beautiful scenery, she fell down from a rock and broke her leg. She yelled for help, but no one heard her cries. The dog knew that Mary was in trouble. He ran a long way to the main road, trying to stop passing cars, but he failed. He hurried back to the camp to see how Mary was, only to find her yelling in great pain. Again, the dog went back to the road, lay down on the road and stuck his feet in the air. Finally, a car stopped and the driver got out and followed the dog to where Mary was. The driver found Mary lying on the ground, pale and weak. He sent her to a hospital immediately. Three months later, Mary recovered and she knew she owed much to the dog.參考復(fù)述:Mary kept a dog and she thought of the dog as her companion. She took the dog everywhere.
