Moral Objects: 1) To raise the learning interest of students. 2) To enable to take an active part in all kinds of activities in an English class. 3) To be able to ask and describe the weather and to understand the different weather in different place .u Teaching Key points To master the key vocabulary and the target language.u Teaching Difficult Points 1) Oral practice 2) To train students integrating skills. u Teaching Methods 1) Listening and speaking methods. 2) Practicing method. 3) Communicative approach. u Teaching Aids The multi-media.u Teaching Procedures Step 1 Greeting (About 3 minutes) 1. Greet the Ss and make a brief self-introduction. 2. Show a picture of a weather report and introduce the new unit . Step 2 Presentation (About 4 minutes) ( Show some pictures of the weather and places) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is and guess the places. Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures. Step 3 Practice (About 10 minutes)1. Play a game.(踩地雷)2.Finish the word spelling exercise on page 82 (學案上)3.Ask the students to match the words with pictures in 1a. Then check the answers. Step 4 Listening (About 4minutes)1. Now, well hear four conversations. Listen carefully, point out each city in the picture as it comes upon the tape. Play the recording a second time. Ask Ss to write the name of the city in the picture of its weather. 2. Check the answers. Step 5 Presentation(About 2 minutes) Teach the students the new sentence “Hows the weather in Beijing?” Step 6 Pair work (About 7minutes)1. Tell the Ss: If you are in one of the places in the picture above. Talk about the weather with your partner. 2. Make a model with a student like this:T: Hi! Hows the weather in Beijing?S1: Its sunny. 3. Ss work in pairs. Then ask two or three pairs to show their dialogues. Step 7 Practice(About 8 minutes) 1.Ask one team to practice the dialogue one by one. 3.Show some exercise in ppt and ask some students to answer. Step 8 Summary(About 4 minutes) 1.Ask one student to tell others what we have learnt in this class. 2.Ask the sudents to recall how was the
