Module 2 Nature and the environmentUnit 5 Wild animals 教材分析本課是教材Module 2 Unit 5的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)。本單元的語(yǔ)言功能項(xiàng)目是Talking about the animals.主要話題是To train the ability of working in pairs,本課內(nèi)容貼近學(xué)生的生活和學(xué)習(xí)實(shí)際,為學(xué)生操練對(duì)話創(chuàng)設(shè)了一個(gè)真實(shí)的語(yǔ)言情景,有利于學(xué)生在比較接近實(shí)際的情景中聽(tīng)聽(tīng)說(shuō)說(shuō),從而培養(yǎng)他們運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行交際的能力。 教學(xué)目標(biāo)【知識(shí)目標(biāo)】1. Talking about the animals2. To enable the students to love animals and love life.3. To train the students ability of working in pairs.【能力目標(biāo)】To use knowledge presented in written text to infer general meaning and context.【情感目標(biāo)】利用多種游戲或活動(dòng)形式培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的濃厚興趣。 教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)【教學(xué)重點(diǎn)】How to say something about wild animals in English.【教學(xué)難點(diǎn)】通過(guò)閱讀活動(dòng),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過(guò)閱讀抓住關(guān)鍵信息,了解故事大意,通過(guò)角色扮演,讓學(xué)生鞏固和運(yùn)用本單元所學(xué)核心詞匯和句型。 課前準(zhǔn)備Tape recorder, Multimedia. 教學(xué)過(guò)程Step 1. Lead-inT: Open your books and turn to page 59 to look at part A. Finish the exercise. Can you name at least three other animals? What are they? Give the students more pictures of animals.Step 2. Listen and readT: So much for the new words. Now, lets listen to Hobo and Eddie twice. After you listen to them, please answer my question.Is Eddie willing to share the food with Hobo? (No.)Step 3. Describing1. Now please pay more attention to these two sentences.(1) If you eat my food, I wont talk to you. (2) If I dont have food, I will die. 2. In the story Hobo and Eddie need enough food but there isnt, so they are poor. The word “poor” can describe an animal, can you find some other words to describe an animal? Now lets play a game “Bingo”!(1) It is very clever. Its favorite food is banana.(2) It has a long, soft tail and lives in the trees. It can climb trees quickly.(3) It is the biggest animals on land. It can lift heavy things.(4) It looks like a large fish in warm sea. You can watch them jump in the zoo.(5) Its like a bear, but it has black and white fur. (6) It looks like a cat and has yellow fur and black stripes.(7) Its large and heavy with thick(厚)fur. It is very strong.(8) It lives in Australia and it has a long strong tail and has strong legs. There is a useful bag for its baby.Step 4. PresentationNow task! make a surveyHave a discussion in groups. Every member should say some names of animals.a.
