2、an think about their ideals, and must study hard to make their ideals come true.Now, I will explain the lesson from the following aspects:Firstly, lets focus on the analysis of teaching content.This lesson includes 2 parts. In section 1, it mainly deals with these key words: farmer / policeman/ inte

3、resting. And in section 2, it deals with the sentences: What do you do? / Where do you work? / Is your work interesting?Secondly, it is about the students.Our students are in Grade Five. They are active and curious, interested in new things.After learning English for 3 years, they have some Basic En

4、glish background knowledge. So the teacher should attach importance to the communication with them, providing them the chances of using language.They have learnt English for 3 years, and have already known “I am a” It is no difficult for them to understand and use the language” I like it very much.”

5、So, I set the following aims:The first one is language knowledge .By the end of the lesson , the students will be able to read、recognize, and use these words: farmer、policeman、interesting, and these sentences : What do you do? Where do you work? Is your work interesting?The second one is language sk

6、ills. By the end of this lesson, the students will understand the words and the sentences, and get useful information from this lesson through attentive listening and reading. By the end of this lesson, the students are able to talk about some jobs.The students abilities of listening and speaking wi

7、ll be developed.The third one is emotional aim .In this lesson , the emotional aim is able to talk about ideal jobs and study hard to make it come true to help the students cultivate and foster their abilities of working in groups and to help the students to recognize and identify the differences be

8、tween Chinese and English cultures on jobs.Fourthly, it talks about teaching methods. In this lesson, I will mainly use “TaskBased Teaching Method”. That is to say, I will let the students in real situation to finish a task by making a survey to help the students to get a better understanding of the

9、 key structure of the dialogue.Next, lets focus on the teaching procedures.I will finish the lesson in 5 steps.Step 1 Warming upIt will cost about 5 minutes.At first, play the song of “What do you do”in activity 3“Lets sing”. Then look at the pictures review the learnt words “doctor 、teacher” for th

10、e next step.Step 2 PresentationIt will cost about 15 minutes.At first , show the cards to learn the new words :”interesting、policeman”. With the help of the cards, to help the students to recognize the different jobs and their working place, to stimulate the students interest of this lesson.While th

11、e teacher playing the tape, let the students to listen and understand. Then let them to close their books, play the tape again and let them to repeat until they are able to read the every sentence skillfully.Step 3 Practice It will cost about 10 minutes.It including 1 mechanical activity to help stu

12、dents to recognize and read the new words and sentences, and 2 activities in the meaningful situations to make students use the new words with sentence structures in act. To help students use the language in a real situation.Step 4 Free SpaceIn this step, I will give students a free space to show th

13、eir abilities. I will let the students to practice and act it out. Then do a game “What missing”.
