1、Unit 6 When was it invented 一、教材分析該篇文章主要介紹籃球的發(fā)明以及其發(fā)展歷程。由于生詞量較大,在閱讀過程中,學(xué)生們完全理解課文方面會有一定的困難。針對上述情況,本課在設(shè)計(jì)時先以錄像導(dǎo)入的形式,增加學(xué)生對文章有關(guān)的感性知識;然后采用略讀的方法,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生閱讀整體觀念;在隨后的細(xì)節(jié)處理時,采取尋讀、細(xì)節(jié)理解、回答問題等方法;在難點(diǎn)處理時,通過啟發(fā)誘導(dǎo),教師歸納的措施加以突破。整個教學(xué)過程的設(shè)計(jì)由淺入深,由感悟、理解、分析、歸納、總結(jié)到運(yùn)用,從而完成從閱讀輸入到理解輸出的學(xué)習(xí)過程,達(dá)到培養(yǎng)學(xué)生閱讀能力的目標(biāo)。 二、學(xué)情分析九年級學(xué)生有一定的詞匯量,能閱讀一些淺顯的英語短

2、文,但對于一些較長、較難的英語文章,學(xué)生往往有畏難情緒,不能整體把握文章的主旨,綜合分析、判斷、理解的能力還有限。因些增加學(xué)生的詞匯量,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生良好的閱讀習(xí)慣和閱讀技巧是上好閱讀理解課的首要目標(biāo)。三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)1.語言目標(biāo):重點(diǎn)單詞及短語:create wooden knock into divide -into hang from court the number of.能讀懂課文內(nèi)容,并從中提取信息和觀點(diǎn)。能就“籃球的發(fā)明”這一話題進(jìn)行討論。2.能力目標(biāo):訓(xùn)練學(xué)生快速理順并獲取閱讀信息的能力,完成圍繞課文內(nèi)容所設(shè)計(jì)的各種任務(wù),初步掌握快速閱讀技巧,能基本表述課文大意在學(xué)習(xí)中培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對閱讀信息

3、的篩選和辨別能力,能用英語談?wù)撆c藍(lán)球有關(guān)的人和事,激發(fā)學(xué)生主動學(xué)英語和用英語的積極性。3.情感態(tài)度目標(biāo):通過對籃球的發(fā)明與發(fā)展的了解與學(xué)習(xí),增長學(xué)生的見識,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的對籃球以及運(yùn)動的愛好、以及積極的情感態(tài)度和價值觀。四、教學(xué)過程step1.
