10、見當(dāng)堂訓(xùn)練部分)§備課資料包a. 詞匯包:double v. 加倍;一、用作限定詞的用法double用作限定詞時(shí),意為“兩倍”,是前位限定詞,其用法與其他前位限定詞(如倍數(shù)詞、分?jǐn)?shù)詞、以及 all, both, half等)的用法一樣,不僅要放在所有形容詞的前面,而且要放在中位限定詞(如冠詞、指示代詞、物主代詞等)和后位限定詞(序數(shù)詞、基數(shù)詞等)之前。如:He got double the sum. 他得到了那個(gè)金額的兩倍。They want at least double their salaries. 他們想至少要把工資提高一倍。Everything was almost dou

12、這房間有雙層門。3. 表示“兩人用的”“雙人的”。如:We bought a double bed. 我們買了一張雙人床。4. 表示“(意義、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)等)雙重的”。如:The word has a double meaning. 這個(gè)詞有雙重意思。This switch has a double purpose. 這個(gè)開關(guān)有雙重用途。注意:用作形容詞的 double與用作限定詞時(shí)的double不僅意思不一樣,而且詞序也不一樣:按照現(xiàn)代英語語法,形容詞總是放在限定詞之后,所以用作形容詞的 double總是放在冠詞、物主代詞、指示代詞等限定詞之后。比較:Do you like the double b

13、ed? 你喜歡這張雙人床嗎?We cannot pay double the amount. 我們不能付雙倍的數(shù)目。三、用作副詞的用法double 用作副詞時(shí),有兩個(gè)意思:一是表示“兩人一道地”,二是表示“雙倍地”。如:The two children sleep double. 這兩個(gè)小孩合睡一床。The price of many things increased double. 許多東西的價(jià)格都上漲了一倍。注意,用作副詞的 double 主要用來修飾動(dòng)詞;若用于修飾形容詞,則通常用 doubly 這一副詞形式。如:Youve got to be doubly careful when y

14、oure driving in fog. 霧天開車你得加倍小心。Losing both the Cup and the League is doubly disappointing. 在杯賽和聯(lián)賽中雙雙失敗真是令人失望透頂。四、用作名詞的用法double用作名詞,意思比較多,表示“兩倍(的數(shù)或量)”“加倍之物”“酷似的人或物”“雙打”等。如:Ill have a double, please. 請(qǐng)給我來一杯雙份的。Two doubles were employed for this scene. 拍這個(gè)場(chǎng)面雇用了兩個(gè)替身。五、用作動(dòng)詞時(shí)的用法double用作動(dòng)詞時(shí),可及物或不及物,意思是“(使

15、)加倍”“對(duì)折”。如:The music doubled in volume. 音樂的聲音加大了一倍。He told me not to double the pages. 他叫我不要折書頁(yè)b. 句式包:She helped you to work out the answers yourself no matter how difficult they were.她幫助你自己算出答案,無論它們有多難。no matter常與疑問代詞或疑問副詞一起構(gòu)成連詞詞組引導(dǎo)讓步狀語從句,意為“不管,無論”,在運(yùn)用時(shí)應(yīng)注意以下幾點(diǎn):一、注意從句的時(shí)態(tài)由no matter what/who/where/whe

16、n,引導(dǎo)的從句往往用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)或一般過去時(shí)。如:No matter who you are, you must obey the rules. 無論你是誰,都應(yīng)該遵守規(guī)則。二、注意被修飾的名詞、形容詞以及副詞的位置no matter what/whose/which修飾名詞時(shí),該名詞必須緊跟其后;no matter how修飾形容詞或副詞時(shí),該形容詞或副詞也必須緊跟其后。如:No matter how hard he works, he find it difficult to make ends meet. 無論他多么努力工作,卻總是入不敷出。三、注意“no matter+疑問詞”結(jié)構(gòu)與“疑

17、問詞+ever”在用法上的區(qū)別1. “no matter+疑問詞”結(jié)構(gòu)只能引導(dǎo)讓步狀語從句,這時(shí)可以和“疑問詞+ever”互換。如:No matter where he may be(=Wherever he may be), he will be happy. 他無論在什么地方都快樂。2. 而“疑問詞+ever”還可以引導(dǎo)名詞性從句。如:Give this book to whoever likes it. 誰喜歡這本書就給誰吧。(這里不能用no matter who)3. whoever既可引導(dǎo)名詞性從句,又有在從句中作主語、賓語、表語等;whomever也可引導(dǎo)名詞性從句,但只能在從句中
