My country is an archipelago of 83 islands, situated in the South West Pacific Ocean, about 2.5 flying hours from the east coast of Australia, North of New Zealand, not far from the Fiji Islands, and a litt

It is indeed the natural welcoming smile of the Ni Vanuatu, their openness and friendliness to outsiders, that makes V

Vanuatu was one of the few places th

6、at was colonised jointly by two countries. In our case we were a colony of France and Britain for 75 years until independence in 1980. Since Vanuatu's independence, the nation has rapidly matured in terms of its institutions of state, the development of a mature economy, and its engagement with

There is accommodation ranging from large luxury resorts in the major centres of Port Vila or Luganville through to small local family-owned bungalows on the outer islands. 11、ly, copra, sandalwood, and kava, the latter a specialised root crop that produces the social drink of choice around the Pacific and now in places around the world, and on sample at World Expo 2010 Shanghai. Manufacturing in Vanuatu is small, but specialised, and largely derived from natural products.

13、Specialised medicines produced from the Beche-La-Mar or Sea Cucumber are produced in Vanuatu and sold around the world, with major research now being undertaken by the US Food and Drug Administration, to establish the effectiveness of some of these medicines for treating cancer. Vanuatu is a high qu
