1、Module 3 SportsUnit 1 Nothing is more enjoyable than playing tennis.一、 教案背景學生課前準備:小組內(nèi)相互預習新單詞各小組派代表討論自己喜歡的體育運動。利用網(wǎng)絡(luò)資源收集最新體育信息,能將自己收集的信息與其他同學共享。二、 教學目標1.To understand the conversation about sports;2.To understand the comparison of sports;3. To talk about the sports that one likes and give reasons, usi
2、ng comparatives.三、 教材分析本模塊以學生熟悉和喜愛的體育運動為主題,結(jié)合了學習體育活動的開展及奧運會的相關(guān)內(nèi)容,激發(fā)學生學習興趣。可采用與實踐相結(jié)合的學習策略,提高對文章的理解力。此外,也可利用這次教學機會,提高學生團體意識,鼓勵有運動天賦的學生發(fā)揮自己的特長,為班級、為學校增光,進一步提高班級凝聚力。教學重點:1. To understand the conversation about sports;2. To understand the comparison of sports.教學難點:To talk about the sports that one likes
3、and give reasons, using comparatives.教具:Tape recorder, video, PPT, multimedia四、 教學過程Step 1 warming up and pre-reading1.Ask the students two questions:Do you like sports?Do you know any sports?2. Let the students look at some words about sports.設(shè)計意圖:由問題引出學生對運動的興趣,自然而然教授生詞,使新知識簡單易懂,課堂氣氛輕松活躍。Step 2 Mat
4、ch the words with the pictures.1. Ask the students to read the balls in activity2.2. Match and check.3. Listen and number the sports as you hear them.設(shè)計意圖:第一步的順利延伸,單詞連圖片是對單詞的鞏固。接著做聽力排序,趁熱打鐵,使學生的能力更上一個臺階。Step 3 Listen and answer the questions.1. T: Maybe you like doing some sports after school, but I
5、 like watching sports news on TV. Do you like it ? Now, Tony and Betty are watching TV. Lets listen and find out what they are talking about.2. S: Theyre talking about sports.設(shè)計意圖:對課文的處理先通過教師介紹,使學生對內(nèi)容初步感知,繼而帶著簡單問題聽錄音,既鍛煉了聽力也為下面的學習打下基礎(chǔ)。Step 4 Read the dialogue and check the true sentences. Then find

T設(shè)計意圖:讓學生讀對話,做判斷正誤,考察學生對細節(jié)的把握。在讀對話的同時劃出不理解的短語及句子,為下一環(huán)節(jié)講解知識點做好鋪墊。Step5 Language notes:1. Check the answers in Step 4;2. Ask
11、the students to say their difficulties, explain them. And show some important expressions.設(shè)計意圖:先讓學生提問,老師回答,如果有學生沒有問到的重點內(nèi)容,老師可以適當補充,學生記憶深刻Step 6 Read and act.1. Ask the students to read the dialogue in roles loudly;2. Ask them to act it out, choose the best group.設(shè)計意圖:讀后表演是對對話的一個提升,考驗學生對知識點及對文章內(nèi)容的深刻理
12、解。這一環(huán)節(jié)把課堂交還給學生,有效提高了課堂氣氛及效率。此外,學生以小組形式上臺表演,團隊合作精神也得到提高。Step 7 See some pictures to understand the adjectives and comparatives.1. Use sporting pictures to help students to understand the adjectives.2. Give them two pictures, ask them to describe them with comparatives.設(shè)計意圖:此環(huán)節(jié)通過大量練習讓學生理解形容詞、副詞及比較級的用法
13、。鼓勵學生多用比較級造句,在表揚與糾錯中獲得新知。Step 8 Exercises.1. First do some basic questions.2. Then check the answers and give some explanation, especially the senior high school examination questions.設(shè)計意圖:趁熱打鐵,有針對性地選擇題型讓學生多說多練,尤其是中考題,更有其代表性,可以開闊學生的視野,消除對中考題的恐懼感。Step 9 Work in pairs.1. Talk about the sports you like
14、. -Hey, Bruce. Which sport do you like, swimming or running?-I like swimming. Its more relaxing than running.2. Ask the students to read out with these comparatives and then choose the best group.設(shè)計意圖:此活動將文章與語法合理地融為一體,以對話的形式體現(xiàn)學生對新知識點的理解與把握。不僅活躍了課堂氣氛,也能夠看出學生對新語法的駕馭能力。教師只需稍加指點,便可事半功倍。Step 10 Homework .1.
