Conclusion1. but與 however相同點(diǎn)：都表示轉(zhuǎn)折 ,都可以連接兩個(gè)句子不同點(diǎn): but還可連接兩個(gè)并列的成分 ,however不能；however可置于句首 ,句中 ,句末 ,而且在句中時(shí)前后用分號(hào)或逗號(hào)隔開的情形較多。but往往置于句首 ,無(wú)需用標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)與句子隔開。2. although與 wh

5、ile相同點(diǎn)：都是連詞 ,都可引導(dǎo)讓步狀語(yǔ)從句；不同點(diǎn)：although意為“雖然 ,盡管 ,相當(dāng)于though ,所引導(dǎo)的句子通常置于句首。含although從句的復(fù)合句可以轉(zhuǎn)化為由but引導(dǎo)的并列句 ,但although與but不能同時(shí)出現(xiàn)；while意為“然而 ,但是 ,可用作并列連詞 ,表示前后的比照 ,一般不與but轉(zhuǎn)換 ,所引導(dǎo)的句子不能置于句首。Step 3 Practicea. 用 but , and 和 however 填空：1.
