、 let go of the everyday worries. out of range表示“不在射程以內(nèi)”;out of reach表示“夠不著”;out of control表示“無法控制”。 根據(jù)問句中的shoot the bird可知答案是A。
It's like/unlike sb.(to do sth.)
10A含有ever的特殊疑問詞如:whatever, whenever, whichever, wherever, whoever等詞既可以引導讓步狀語從句又可以引導名詞性從句,而其相對應的no matter what/when/which/where/who等只能引導讓步狀語從句,不能引導名詞性從句。故選A。.
、行母親的責任。畢業(yè)典禮上,當孩子把玫瑰送給她時,她情不能已,流下了幸福的眼淚。11C第一段中提到作者在洗滌間淚流滿面,再結(jié)合本句前半句中的內(nèi)容可知作者“倒”在了地上。sink to the floor表示“倒在地上”。12B上一段的后半部分中提到他的牛仔褲和襯衫上到處都是燒的洞,由此可知Brett經(jīng)?!皻?,糟?!睎|西。C項表示“撕毀”,D項表示“打破”,都與第一段后半部分中的內(nèi)容不符。13A根據(jù)Brett燒毀衣服的這種行為和第二段第三句可推知他經(jīng)常把房間中幾乎所有的東西搞得亂七八糟。此處out of order表示“出故障,不整潔”。out of place表示“不合適,不協(xié)調(diào),格格不入”;
、out of trouble表示“脫離困境”;out of danger表示“脫離危險”,都不符合語境。
I don't want him in my house another day可知,作者在內(nèi)心深處無法“忍受”他。
后半句可理解為“no matter what happened”。 此處是“although you were troubled enough by me”的省略形式。 gathe
由對第二個beach的介紹with few facilities,but is perfect for summer bathing可知。 由對第二個beach的介紹中Fayreness Hotel(0188 86866,www. fayreness. com)可知。 .35.I
