Material analysis本課是九年級第四單元第三話題的第四課時。主活動是1a和Project。1a通過介紹機(jī)器人的迅猛發(fā)展,提出一個引人深思的問題:將來機(jī)器人還會像人類的仆人一樣為人類服務(wù)嗎?這個看似滑稽的問題其實蘊(yùn)含了一個科學(xué)價值觀:科技發(fā)展使人類成為主宰地球的王者,然而這是否又是葬送人類的最終利器呢?因為一切都要等到將來才能知道答案,所以現(xiàn)在所談?wù)摰亩贾皇强赡苄浴_@樣,本課的功能也就自然而然地呈現(xiàn)了:談?wù)摽赡苄?。中國學(xué)生習(xí)慣通過漢語學(xué)英語,1b則體現(xiàn)了課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)所提倡的“用英語學(xué)英語”。1c 所設(shè)置的問題部分與1a有聯(lián)系,又有一部分需要學(xué)生發(fā)表自己的觀點(diǎn),也就
2、是要學(xué)生有自己的科學(xué)觀。Project 通過讓學(xué)生“在做中學(xué),在做中用”的方式,來整合本話題的相關(guān)知識。但是這個活動需要學(xué)生先收集資料、準(zhǔn)備材料,只能在課后完成,故留作家庭作業(yè)。.Teaching aims1. Knowledge aims: 掌握本課的重點(diǎn)詞匯和短語,歸納總結(jié)定語從句。2. Skill aims:能夠總結(jié)定語從句的用法。能夠談?wù)摽赡芤l(fā)生的事情。能夠通過1b, 學(xué)會“用英語學(xué)英語”。3. Emotional aims: (optional)培養(yǎng)辯證的科學(xué)價值觀。4. Key points: Words and phrases: certain, for certain, on ones own, warn, might, housework, so far, be surprised at, no longerSentences: No one knows for certain, but most people think that robots will be part of our lives. In a few years, perhaps robots will think on their own, just as

One scientist warns that if robots start to think for themselves, they will no longer want to be our servants, but our masters.Grammar: summarize the attributive clause, talk about possibilities2. 6、ing strategies在“語法和功能”部分,通過和老師同學(xué)一起總結(jié)定語從句的用法,來整理本話題的語法。通過討論pre-reading 的問題,預(yù)測文章的內(nèi)容。在1b , 嘗試用英語釋義來學(xué)習(xí)英語單詞。通過Project , 在合作的過程中學(xué)習(xí)制作英語墻報。.
