16、如,book,table都是可數(shù)名詞而water是不可數(shù)名詞。一般來說,在英語中物質(zhì)名詞和抽象名詞都是不可數(shù)名詞,如flour,rice,beauty,pleasure,money等。學(xué)習(xí)名詞必須區(qū)分其是否可數(shù)。只有可數(shù)名詞前才可以使用數(shù)詞和不定冠詞。值得注意的是,有時同一個單詞所指不同,其數(shù)的概念也就不同。例如,paper作“紙”解時為不可數(shù)名詞,表示“報紙”和“試卷”時是可數(shù)名詞;fish指“魚肉”時是不可數(shù)名詞,表示“魚”時是可數(shù)名詞,只不過通常是單復(fù)數(shù)同形;coffee做“咖啡”解時是不可數(shù)名詞,表示“一杯咖啡”時是可數(shù)名詞。2 .名詞的數(shù)對于可數(shù)名詞數(shù)的變化,一要掌握規(guī)則變化,即名詞

17、后面加-s或者-es的情況;二要掌握不規(guī)貝變化,包括man-men,woman-women,foot-feet,tooth-teeth,mouse-mice,child-children等;三要掌握單復(fù)數(shù)同形的單詞,如sheep等。除此之外,還應(yīng)注意以下幾點(diǎn):1)在一般情況下,復(fù)合名詞的單復(fù)數(shù)形式體現(xiàn)在最后一個名詞上,如apencilbox-pencilboxes,agirlstudent-girlstudents但是如果是由man或woman構(gòu)成的復(fù)合名詞,如amandoctor,awomanteacher;其復(fù)數(shù)形式貝為mendoctors,womenteachers2)有些名詞往往以復(fù)數(shù)

18、形式出現(xiàn),如trousers,glasses(艮鏡),在表示數(shù)量時需要借助量詞,如apairoftrousers,threepairsoftrousers3)有些名詞表示復(fù)數(shù)概念,往往作為一個整體看待,如police,peopleo這些單詞沒有復(fù)數(shù)形式。但是其后面的謂語動詞卻多為復(fù)數(shù)形式。例如:Thepolicehavecaughtthethief.Manypeoplehaveseenthefilm.如果要表達(dá)單個數(shù)量只能換用其他單詞。例如:“一名警察”是apoliceman/policeman,“一個人”可以是aperson,aman,awoma等。不過要注意,people作“民族,種族”解

19、時,是可數(shù)名詞,復(fù)數(shù)形式是peoples3 .名詞的所有格名詞的所有格一般采用名詞后加s的形式,如achild'sdream,someonesbag;以-s結(jié)尾的復(fù)數(shù)名詞的所有格直接加即可,如theboys'schoolbags所有格表示的是所屬關(guān)系,采用's結(jié)構(gòu)的多為有生命的名詞。如果是無生命的名詞,多采用“of+名詞”的方式表達(dá)。例如:thewindowofthehouse房子的窗戶theendoftheyear#底thegateofourschoo我們學(xué)校的大門注意,afriendofmyfathers與myfathersfriend的含義不同,前者含有“我父親有

20、不止一個朋友”的意思,而后者沒有這一含義。4 .名詞的句法功能名詞的句法功能指名詞可以充當(dāng)?shù)木渥映煞?,常見的有?)主語Theflighttakesaboutthirteenhours.航程需要大約13個小時。MrWangteachesusEnglish.王老師教我們英語。2)賓語ManypeoplewerehelpingtheoldmanwhenIpassed.我路過的時候,許多人在幫助這位老人。Hehasbecomeveryinterestedinchessrecently.最近他對國際象棋產(chǎn)生了很大的興趣。3)賓語補(bǔ)足語WeallcallhimXiaoLi.我們都叫他小李。4)表語Myy
