2、多種教學(xué)模式和教學(xué)手段(課堂教學(xué)和網(wǎng)絡(luò)課堂教學(xué))為一體的教 學(xué)體系。本課程屬于全校公共基礎(chǔ)課中的必修課,面向全校各專業(yè)學(xué)生。二、課程的地位、作用和任務(wù)大學(xué)英語的教學(xué)作用和任務(wù)是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生英語綜合應(yīng)用能力,使他們?cè)诮窈蠊ぷ骱蜕鐣?huì)交往中能 用英語有效地進(jìn)行口頭和書面的信息交流,同時(shí)增強(qiáng)其自主學(xué)習(xí)能力、提高綜合文化素養(yǎng),以適應(yīng) 我國經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展和國際交流的需要。三、課程教學(xué)的基本要求我校大學(xué)階段的英語讀寫教學(xué)要求分為兩個(gè)層次,即一般要求和較高要求。一般要求是我校非 英語專業(yè)普通班本科生應(yīng)達(dá)到的基本要求。較高要求是我校非英語專業(yè)快班應(yīng)爭取達(dá)到的要求。根據(jù)我校實(shí)際情況和辦學(xué)定位,我校大學(xué)階段的英語讀寫教學(xué)要求

3、分為兩個(gè)層次,即一般要求 和較高要求。一般要求是我校非英語專業(yè)普通班本科生應(yīng)達(dá)到的基本要求。較高要求是我校那些英 語起點(diǎn)水平較高、學(xué)有余力的快班學(xué)生應(yīng)該達(dá)到的要求。兩個(gè)層次的英語能力要求如下:一般要求:1 .閱讀理解能力:能基本讀懂一般性題材的英文文章,閱讀速度達(dá)到每分鐘70詞。在快速閱讀篇幅較長、難度略低的材料時(shí),閱讀速度達(dá)到每分鐘100詞。能就閱讀材料進(jìn)行略讀和尋讀。能借助詞典閱讀本專業(yè)的英語教材和題材熟悉的英文報(bào)刊文章,掌握中心大意,理解主要事實(shí)和有關(guān) 細(xì)節(jié)。能讀懂工作、生活中常見的應(yīng)用文體的材料。能在閱讀中使用有效的閱讀方法。2 .書面表達(dá)能力:能完成一般性寫作任務(wù),能描述個(gè)人經(jīng)歷、觀

4、感、情感和發(fā)生的事件等, 能寫常見的應(yīng)用文,能在半小時(shí)內(nèi)就一般性話題或提綱寫出不少于120詞的短文,內(nèi)容基本完整,中心思想明確,用詞恰當(dāng),語意連貫。能掌握基本的寫作技能。3 .翻譯能力:能借助詞典對(duì)題材熟悉的文章進(jìn)行英漢互譯,英漢譯速為每小時(shí)約300個(gè)英語單詞,漢英譯速為每小時(shí)約 250個(gè)漢字。譯文基本準(zhǔn)確,無重大的理解和語言表達(dá)錯(cuò)誤。6 .推薦詞匯量:掌握的詞匯量應(yīng)達(dá)到約4795個(gè)單詞和700個(gè)詞組(含中學(xué)應(yīng)掌握的詞匯),其中約2000個(gè)單詞為積極詞匯,即要求學(xué)生能夠在認(rèn)知的基礎(chǔ)上在口頭和書面表達(dá)兩個(gè)方面熟練 運(yùn)用的詞匯(見附 3:大學(xué)英語參考詞匯表)。較高要求:1. 閱讀理解能力:能基本讀

5、懂英語國家大眾性報(bào)刊雜志上一般性題材的文章,閱讀速度為每分鐘 7090 詞。在快速閱讀篇幅較長、難度適中的材料時(shí),閱讀速度達(dá)到每分鐘 120 詞。能閱讀所學(xué)專業(yè)的綜述性文獻(xiàn),并能正確理解中心大意,抓住主要事實(shí)和有關(guān)細(xì)節(jié)。2. 書面表達(dá)能力:能基本上就一般性的主題表達(dá)個(gè)人觀點(diǎn),能寫所學(xué)專業(yè)論文的英文摘要,能寫所學(xué)專業(yè)的英語小論文, 能描述各種圖表, 能在半小時(shí)內(nèi)寫出不少于160 詞的短文, 內(nèi)容完整,觀點(diǎn)明確,條理清楚,語句通順。3. 翻譯能力:能摘譯所學(xué)專業(yè)的英語文獻(xiàn)資料,能借助詞典翻譯英語國家大眾性報(bào)刊上題材熟悉的文章,英漢譯速為每小時(shí)約 350 個(gè)英語單詞,漢英譯速為每小時(shí)約 300 個(gè)漢
