1、Module 2 My family詞句精講精練詞匯精講1. familyfamily是名詞,意為“家庭、家人”。當(dāng)“家庭”講時(shí),是整體概念,謂語(yǔ)用單數(shù);當(dāng)“家人”講時(shí),是復(fù)數(shù)概念,謂語(yǔ)用復(fù)數(shù)。例如:I have a big family. 我有一個(gè)大家庭。 My family are very kind. 我家人都很和藹。2. parent,grandparent parent 名詞,“父親或母親”,指父母雙親之一。作主語(yǔ)時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)形式;parents是parent的復(fù)數(shù)形式;意為“父母”,指兩個(gè)人;作主語(yǔ)時(shí)謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式。同樣,grandparent指祖父母中的一個(gè)人,而gra

2、ndparents指的是祖父母兩個(gè)人。祖父母單獨(dú)的具體稱(chēng)謂是grandfather(爺爺/姥爺)和grandmother(奶奶/姥姥);口語(yǔ)中也可以稱(chēng)grandpa和grandma。 例如:Your parent is coming, dont worry. 你的家長(zhǎng)就要來(lái)了,不要擔(dān)心。 Her parents are workers. 她的父母親都是工人。 His grandparents live in the village. 他的祖父母住在那個(gè)小村莊里。3. sister / brother 這兩個(gè)詞都是可數(shù)名詞,復(fù)數(shù)是brothers / sisters;意為“姐姐,妹妹/哥哥,弟弟

3、”。英語(yǔ)中需要表示長(zhǎng)幼區(qū)別時(shí)通常在brother,sister前加上elder表示“兄,姐”;加上little / younger表示“弟,妹”。 例如:This is my younger sister Lily. 這是我的妹妹Lily。 Its a photo of my elder brother. 這是一張我哥哥的照片。4. these,thosethese 是this的復(fù)數(shù)形式,意為“這些”。those是that的復(fù)數(shù)形式,意為“那些”。this,these,that,those這四個(gè)詞稱(chēng)為指示代詞,用來(lái)指示或標(biāo)識(shí)人或事物。this與that后接單數(shù)名詞,是單數(shù)指示代詞;those與

4、these后接復(fù)數(shù)名詞,是復(fù)數(shù)指示代詞。通常談?wù)撾x自己近的人或物時(shí)用this/these; 談?wù)撾x自己遠(yuǎn)的人或物時(shí)用that/those。 例如:This is a book. 這是一本書(shū)。 Those girls are in Class 3. 那些女孩在三班。5. uncle, aunt, cousin 這三詞對(duì)應(yīng)的漢語(yǔ)意思很廣,可以通過(guò)上下文意思來(lái)判斷,uncle可以指父親或者母親的兄弟,即“叔叔、伯伯和舅舅”,aunt指父親或者母親的姐妹,即“姑姑、嬸嬸和阿姨”。cousin 是他們的子女,即“堂(表)兄弟、堂(表)姐妹”。這三個(gè)詞均為可數(shù)名詞。例如: My fathers broth

5、er is my uncle. 我爸爸的弟弟(哥哥)是我的叔叔(伯伯)。 My uncles son is my cousin. 我叔叔的兒子是我的堂兄弟。 Her mothers sister is her aunt. 她媽媽的妹妹是她的姨姨。6. a photo of Tonys familya photo of Tonys family的意思是“托尼的一張全家福照片”,相當(dāng)于“Tonys family photo”。of是表示名詞所有格,是常用來(lái)表示無(wú)生命的名詞所有格的形式, 表示所屬關(guān)系;意為“的”例如:a map of China 一幅中國(guó)地圖 the leg of the tabl

6、e 桌子的腿 拓展: 辨析photo與picture: 兩詞都有“照片、相片”之意,都是可數(shù)名詞,其復(fù)數(shù)都在詞尾加s,其區(qū)別如下: photo 常指拍攝的“照片”。 例如:This is a photo of my brother. 這是我哥哥的一張照片。 picture不僅指“照片”,還可以指“圖片、畫(huà)像”。 例如:Can you draw a picture? 你能畫(huà)一幅畫(huà)嗎?7. on the left/on the right 這兩短語(yǔ)是表示方位的短語(yǔ),on the left意為“在左邊”,它的反義詞on the right意為“在右邊”。如果表示在某人的左邊或右邊,應(yīng)用on+形容詞性

7、物主代詞+left/right。例如:My cousin is on my right in this photo. 在這張照片里,我的表兄弟在我的右邊。拓展:本單元表示方位詞還有:in front of 在前面;next to 在旁邊;緊挨著例如:Lily is in front of me. 李麗在我的前面。 The man next to me is my father. 在我旁邊的那個(gè)男人是我的爸爸。8. their/itstheir意為“他們的”,its意為“它的”都是形容詞性物主代詞,后面要跟名詞,不能單獨(dú)使用。名詞的前面可以加形容詞。 例如:This is their big r

8、oom. 這是他們的大房間。 Those are their books. 那些是他們的書(shū)。 I have a dog. Its eyes are blue. 我有一只狗。它的眼睛是藍(lán)色的。拓展: 1)辨析its和its:its=it is 意為“它是”。It是代詞,意為“它”,表示第三人稱(chēng)單數(shù)。its意為“它的”,后面需要加名詞。例如:It is a book.= Its a book. 它是一本書(shū)。 I have a book. Its picture is beautiful. 我有一本書(shū),它的圖片很漂亮。2)形容詞物主代詞還有:her(她的),his(他的),your(你的/你們的),

Shes a bus driver. 她是公共汽車(chē)司機(jī)。3. Whos this/that? Who是疑問(wèn)代詞,意為“誰(shuí);什么人”。用它可以構(gòu)成特殊疑問(wèn)句。句式是“Who

21、+ is + this/that +?”,意為 “這/那是誰(shuí)?”?;卮饡r(shí)用“He / She / It +is”。 注意縮寫(xiě)的情況:whos= who is shes = she is hes = he is its = it is 例如:Whos this? 這是誰(shuí)?Shes my aunt. 她是我姑姑/姨媽。Whos that? 那是誰(shuí)?Hes my uncle. 他是我叔叔/舅舅。 當(dāng)需要對(duì)復(fù)數(shù)意義的詞提問(wèn)時(shí),要用“Who are these/those?”來(lái)提問(wèn),意為“這些/那些是誰(shuí)?”;回答用“They are ”。 例如:Who are these? 這些是誰(shuí)? They are

22、 my cousins. 她們是我的堂姐妹。 注意:當(dāng)我們?cè)儐?wèn)不確定性別的人時(shí),要用代詞“it”。 例如:Whos it in the picture? 照片里的人是誰(shuí)? Its my sister. 是我的姐姐。4. What a big family! What a big family!是一感嘆句,意為“真是一個(gè)大家庭”。表示喜怒哀樂(lè)等強(qiáng)烈感情的句子叫感嘆句。感嘆句的末尾用感嘆號(hào)。句子開(kāi)頭經(jīng)常用what或者h(yuǎn)ow來(lái)引導(dǎo)。how后面常接形容詞或副詞,what后面常接名詞,當(dāng)然名詞前可以有形容詞修飾。例如:How beautiful the picture is! 這張圖片多漂亮呀!What
