You have to stay at school from Monday to Saturday morning. How do you usually keep in touch with your parents? ( By making telephone calls.) H

Step II: Presentation To get the students to know what they are going to learn.1. Talk about the histo
7、ry of the telephone by presenting the key sentences:When was the telephone invented? Who was it invented by?2. Show Ss a picture of a TV and a car. 1. Listen and say. 2.Talk about the history of the TV set and the car by using the target language. Slide 4,5,6,7,8&9Step III:Listening practiceTo p
8、ractice and improve the students listening skills.1. Encourage the students to talk aobut the picture.2. Read the instructions to the class. Play the recording. Check the answers. Students listen and finish 1b.Slide 11Sep IV: Pair work To make sure the students have gotten to know how to talk about
9、the history of some inventions. To show the students some inventions, inventors and some dates. Ask them to match the inventions with the inventors and the dates. Then do pair work. 1.Match the inventions with the inventors and dates as quickly as possible. 2. Work in pairs to talk about the history
10、 of the inventions shown on the screen. Slide 12&13 Step VBrainstormTo talk about the use of the computer. 1.Present the key sentence: What is the computer used for? It is used for surfing the Internet.2.Ask the students to brainstorm the use of the computer. Speak out the use of the computer on
11、e by one. Step VI GroupworkTo make sure the students have gotten to know how to talk about the use of the things in our daily life. 15、的認知水平出發(fā),設(shè)計能激發(fā)學生學習愛好并呈一定階梯狀的任務(wù),努力創(chuàng)設(shè)輕松、和諧的語言氛圍,讓學生在感知任務(wù)、實踐任務(wù)中,獲取和運用語言知識,體驗成功所帶來的喜悅。本節(jié)課的話題是“inventions”。老師從學生身邊的發(fā)明電話切入話題,引出重點句型。繼而引導學生談?wù)撋钪谐R姷陌l(fā)明,如電視,小汽車,電腦等。喚醒學生、激起學生的表達欲望,從而不斷發(fā)展學生的聽、說、讀、寫的能力。在課堂上,老師始終做到示范者、啟發(fā)者、組織者、激勵者和促進者的角色,全方位地發(fā)展學生。在這節(jié)課里,通過劃分小組,進行了小組競賽激勵,學生積極參與的氣氛很濃,尤其是在brainstorm the use of the useful inventions in our daily life這個環(huán)節(jié),學生的積極性得到充分的
