Why or Why not? 教學反思 英語教學作為一門語言的教學,其主要是培養(yǎng)學生的言語技能,即運用語言的能力,因此其課堂教學具有不同于其他課程課堂教學的特點。我通過對新課標的學習,根據(jù)中學教材的內(nèi)容編排突出了對這種能力的培養(yǎng),采取了指導性的學案模式,強調(diào)師生之間、學生之間的雙向運用。 英語的課堂教學應當反映這種特點,以用為主,樹立一種“大英語教學觀”,讓英語教學走出課堂,走向社會。 首先是教師觀念的轉(zhuǎn)變。英語教師要轉(zhuǎn)變的第一個觀
12、念是:英語教學不是語言知識的教學而是言語技能的教學。過去,由于考試指揮棒的影響,英語教師過分強調(diào)英語知識的教學,結果培養(yǎng)了一批“啞巴英語”“聾子英語”。這次中學英語教材的改革為教師觀念的轉(zhuǎn)變奠定了基礎。然而傳統(tǒng)考試的“余威”仍在,考試依舊是教學的指揮棒。作為一名英語老師,是應該懂得如何在這兩點找到一個平衡點。值得高興的是中學英語教學大綱適時進行了調(diào)整,明確規(guī)定將降低語法試題的難度,減少知識性的客觀題,重點培養(yǎng)學生的言語能力,在言語運用中學習語言。 教師觀念轉(zhuǎn)變的第二個方面是:由以本為本向以用為本轉(zhuǎn)變。英語語言是一門不斷發(fā)展的語言,現(xiàn)代科技的發(fā)展為它注入了新鮮的血液。英語教材只是學生學習英語的基
13、礎、媒介,學生要學好英語就必須融入英語的海洋,跟上英語發(fā)展的步伐。因此我也時常在教材教學的基礎上隨時把鮮活的英語輸入教學,讓學生能夠感受英語,能夠使用英語表達自己的思想。例如當今流行的email(電子郵件),surf on the internet(網(wǎng)上沖浪),clone(克?。?bedizen(網(wǎng)民)等。在平時的教學活動中,單一、呆板的教學方法容易使學生失去學習的興趣,而且不能體現(xiàn)語言的生動性,而多種教學方法可以刺激學生的不同興奮點,抑制大腦疲勞。計算機輔助教學使教學方法的運用有了廣闊的天地。 無論哪種教法,其基本出發(fā)點是學生,學生是課堂的主體。課堂應當是學堂,是學生學習的天堂。課堂教學應當充分發(fā)揮學生主體的積極性。英語學習的特點決定了討論法在英語課堂教學中的特殊意義。英語課的討論法應具有更廣泛的內(nèi)容,更自由的民主氣氛,不但
