6、ectives2.1. To promote regional cooperation among physical therapy students in Asia. 2.2. To promote interaction among physical therapy students in Asia. 2.3. To enhance international competitiveness of physical therapy students in Asia. 2.4. To encourage physical therapy students to devote themselv

7、es to international education and health promotion. 2.5. To promote regional characteristics of Physical Therapy in Asia. 2.6. To propagandize and protect profession of physical therapy in Asia. 2.7. To broaden physical therapy students horizons. 2.8. To improve educational environment of PT in Asia

8、.2.9. To represent all member countries in APTSA to interact with other countries and associations. 2.10 To be a totally non political association. 3. Headquarter3.1. Taiwan as the headquarter3.2. Keep the documentation of each activity4. Members4.1. Membership4.1.1. Formal members: Formal members a

9、re country members, and each country can send a maximum of 3 student representatives but each country can only have one student vote. Each country member needs to have at least one student representative.4.1.2. General members:4.1.2.1. Association member: An association member is a school unit or re

10、gional unit that joins the APTSA.4.1.2.2. Individual member: An individual member is a PT student who joins the APTSA if his or her schools PT student association is not a member of APTSA.4.1.2.3. Supporting member: A supporting member limits to the students who have been graduated from a PT school

11、in Asia and who are used to be an individual member and representative of a formal member.4.2. Rights4.2.1. Formal member: Each formal member has the rights to vote for the president, vice president, and the candidate of each department of the executive committee of the APTSA.4.2.2. General member:

12、4.2.2.1. Association member: Each association member has the rights to receive information of APTSA and attend the activities held by APTSA. Each association member also has the rights to vote for the formal member to represent the country. 4.2.2.2. Individual member: Each member has the rights to r

13、eceive information of APTSA and attend the activities held by APTSA.4.2.2.3. Supporting member: Each supporting member has the rights to receive information of APTSA and attend the activities held by APTSA.4.3. Obligations4.3.1. To obey the APTSA Constitution. 4.3.2. To pay the annual dues of APTSA.

14、 4.4. Suspension4.4.1. Delayed payment. .1. If the case arises that a country cannot pay by the set due date, that country must gain approval from the executive committee. And, if approved, will be given an additional 3 months to settle the amount. Failure to do so will warrant a suspension. Approva

15、l from the executive committee must be in one month ahead of the due date.4.4.2. Do not obey the constitution. .1. Punishments for any violations of this constitution will be decided upon by the current executive committee.4.5. Dues 4.5.1. The amount of dues and the due date of payment can be adjust

16、ed by the executive committee as they see fit.4.5.2. Amount of annual fee.1. Amount of annual fee= 50USD/years for association members.2. Amount of annual fee= 10USD/years for individual members.3. Amount of annual fee= 25USD/years for supporting members.4.5.3. Dues are owned by all members of the A

17、PTSA and cannot be used privately. 5. Activities5.1. Annual Congress5.2. Academic Seminar and workshop should be held at least once a year.5.3. Publication and information dissemination5.3.1. Could be held in any form6. Executive Committee6.1. Each country must be represented in executive committee.

18、6.2. President and vice president 6.2.1. Manage the members in APTSA6.2.2. Decide the main direction of APTSA each year 6.2.3. If the case arises that the president for two consecutive years is from the same country, that country is required to hold the annual congress at least once within the presi

19、dents term.6.2.3.1. President has the priority to host the next conference, but upon refusal can open the floor to bidding by other country. The host country will be chosen by the board.6.2.4. Vice president will be the leader in the absence of the president.6.3. Finance Department6.3.1. Drawing up

20、and execution of budget.6.3.2. Manage the account.6.4. Logistics department6.4.1. Manage schedule of activities.6.4.2. Prepare and plan for activities.6.5. Academic department 6.5.1. To establish and cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with ACPT and other organizations.6.9. The president and vice

23、 president of the executive committee should be elected by formal members. 6.10. The elected president and vice president should represent the entire organization and not their respected countries. 7 Funding 7.1. Find some partial support of ACPT7.2. 24、l members of APTSA have the rights to vote for president and vice-president.8.2. The term of appointment for president and executives is one year. An individual can only be elected into the same position for a maximum two consecutive years. . Any position can only be held by representatives of the s

25、ame country for a maximum of two consecutive years. 8.3. The candidates of each department should be elected from formal members.9. Amendment9.1.
