5、d like to extend my greetings to you, Mr. President and to all the distinguished guests and delegates here today. 6、of achieving a total and universal ban on anti-personnel mines. TONE / TONEAs a Special Representative of the Secretary-General to the Conference on Disarmament, I am very much encouraged by the many strides made towards the total eradication of anti-personnel mines which provide us with a good exam

7、ple for disarmament efforts in all directions. The opening of the International Center for demining here in Geneva in 1996 and the entering into force of the Mine-Ban Convention in March 1999 are a few of the milestones which merit special mention. 8、rnational community towards the goal of the complete eradication of the scourge of land-mines and the full implementation of the Convention is evident here today. TONE / TONEGovernments and the public at large are increasingly recognizing the vital importance of success in this humanitarian undertak

9、ing and the costs of failure. TONE / TONE The urgency conveyed by the theme chosen for this second meeting: Every minute counts is all too apt as 27 people are killed by landmines every day and 41 are seriously injured. One out of two victims is a child. As the human being should remain at the cente

10、r of everything we do, assistance to victims must be accorded the highest political importance. TONE / TONE We at the United Nations, are deeply engaged in this work and are gratified that to date, more than 100 States have signed the Ottawa Convention, reaffirming their unwavering commitment to the

11、 total eradication of anti-personnel mines. It is one of a core group of treaties for which the UN Secretary-General is making a sustained effort during the Millennium Summit to encourage further adherence. 14、E我很高興參加博鰲亞洲論壇首次年會(huì)。我愿意與大家共同探討新世紀(jì)新亞洲區(qū)域合作與發(fā)展的問題。TONE / TONE亞洲是地球上最大的洲，聚居著世界上60的人口。資源十分豐富，歷史源遠(yuǎn)流長，文化博大精深。去年11月，我國與東盟國家一致同意今后10年逐步建立中國東盟自由貿(mào)易區(qū)，有關(guān)方面正就啟動(dòng)談判進(jìn)行接觸。這些將為亞洲國家和地區(qū)擴(kuò)大交流、深化合作，提供重要渠道和機(jī)制。但是，與歐洲和北美區(qū)域合作相比，亞洲區(qū)域合作相對(duì)落后。一段時(shí)間以來，許多方面對(duì)亞洲區(qū)域合作的發(fā)展方向提出了不少獨(dú)到的見解。這里，我談幾點(diǎn)看法：TONE / TONE第一，以經(jīng)濟(jì)合作為重點(diǎn)，逐步拓展全方位合作。發(fā)展經(jīng)濟(jì)是亞洲各國的首要任務(wù)

17、驗(yàn)的專業(yè)翻譯人員或具有同等能力的各類人員。二、考試形式、容與考試時(shí)間一級(jí)口譯證書考試包含兩個(gè)部分：第一部分為交替?zhèn)髯g，其中第一節(jié)為英譯漢交替?zhèn)髯g，要求考生將一段600詞左右的英語講話譯成漢語；第二節(jié)為漢譯英交替?zhèn)髯g，要求考生將一段800字左右的漢語講話譯成英語。該部分的考試采取聽錄音做翻譯的方式進(jìn)行?？忌鷮⒙牭降挠⒄Z或漢語講話分別譯成漢語或英語，并同時(shí)錄在磁帶上。每段講話錄音中，每隔1分鐘至2分鐘有一段停頓，停頓時(shí)間約為播放錄音時(shí)間的1-1.5倍，該時(shí)間是留給考生翻譯的時(shí)間。聽錄音時(shí)，考生可以做筆記，并充分利用停頓的時(shí)間進(jìn)行翻譯。第二部分為同聲傳譯，其中第一節(jié)為英譯漢，要求考生將一篇約1000

18、詞的英語演講以同聲傳譯的方式譯成漢語，第二節(jié)為漢譯英，要求考生將一篇約1400字左右的漢語演講以同聲傳譯的方式譯成英語。該部分采取聽錄音做同聲傳譯的方式。 考生須將聽到的英語或漢語講話分別同傳譯成漢語或英語。正式考試前考生每人可獲得一口譯證書考試考生須知，須知指導(dǎo)考生如何填寫、考點(diǎn)和考號(hào)以與考試方式，此外在考試容一項(xiàng)中給出了各部分考試的容簡介。兩部分的考試時(shí)間分別約為30分鐘，兩部分考試之間間隔1小時(shí)。三、考試計(jì)分方式與合格線考試采取百分制計(jì)分方式，交替?zhèn)髯g和同聲傳譯各占50%，滿分分別為50分。考試合格標(biāo)準(zhǔn)為總分70分，同時(shí)要求交替?zhèn)髯g、同聲傳譯單項(xiàng)得分分別不低于30分。達(dá)到上述合格標(biāo)準(zhǔn)者方
