4、am,group,government,committee,class,union,firm,staff,public等作主語時,謂語動詞的數(shù)要根據(jù)語言內(nèi)容而定。強調(diào)整體,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式,強調(diào)各個成員,則謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式。*The team is the best in this city.這個隊是這個城市最好的隊。*The team are driving to the game in their own cars.(強調(diào)隊員)隊員們正駕駛自己的車前往賽場。3只作不可數(shù)名詞的集體名詞clothing,baggage/luggage,furniture,scenery,jewellery

5、,equipment等作主語時,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式。*The baggage was brought from the attic for packing.把行李從閣樓上搬下來打包。*The furniture was made according to her order.家具是按她的要求定做的。4單復(fù)數(shù)同形的名詞means,sheep,deer等,據(jù)其表達(dá)的單復(fù)數(shù)的意義而定。*The quickest means of travel is by plane.最快的交通方式是乘飛機。*There wasnt a sheep in sight.一只羊也看不見。*The sheep are sa

6、fe in the sheepfold.羊在羊欄里很安全。5只有復(fù)數(shù)形式的名詞goods,clothes,remains等,謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式。*Therere a large variety of goods in the shops.商店里有各式各樣的商品。6表示成雙成套的名詞glasses,trousers,shoes,scissors,gloves等,謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式。*My trousers are too tight, so I have to change them for another pair.我的褲子太緊了,因此我只好換另一條。名師點撥按“量”則不同表示成雙成套的名詞前

7、若有pair of,type of等修飾,謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)根據(jù)量詞的形式確定。*A new pair of trousers was bought by my aunt yesterday.昨天我姑姑買了一條新褲子。(二)并列結(jié)構(gòu)作主語時的主謂一致1由and或both. and連接,其內(nèi)容是復(fù)數(shù),謂語動詞需用復(fù)數(shù)。*Both the artist and his student are going to Beijing next week. 下周這位藝術(shù)家和他的學(xué)生打算去北京。2由or;either. or.;neither. nor.;not only. but also.;not.but.

8、等連接主語時,謂語動詞單復(fù)數(shù)須與就近的名詞或代詞一致。*Either he or his friends are to give us a hand.他或者他的朋友們計劃幫我們一把。3主語后有with,together with,as well as,like,along with,rather than等詞或短語時,謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)仍與主語一致。*He, together with his classmates, is going to go swimming tomorrow afternoon.他和他的同班同學(xué)打算明天下午去游泳。(三)數(shù)量概念作主語時的主謂一致1表示時間、距離、長度、重

9、量等的復(fù)數(shù)名詞短語作主語時,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式。*Ten years isnt a very long period.十年不是一段很長的時期。2some,most,rest及分?jǐn)?shù)、百分?jǐn)?shù)等作主語時,謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)根據(jù)所代替的名詞確定。*Some of the students are from abroad.(some指代學(xué)生們)一些學(xué)生來自國外。*Is there any more tea?還有茶嗎?Yes, some is left.(some指代茶)有,還剩一點。3a number of復(fù)數(shù)名詞謂語(復(fù)數(shù))。*A number of new buildings have just be

10、en finished.很多的新樓剛剛建成。4the number of復(fù)數(shù)名詞謂語(單數(shù))。*The number of chairs in the classroom is 60.教室里有60把椅子。5quantities of復(fù)數(shù)名詞/不可數(shù)名詞謂語(復(fù)數(shù));而a quantity of復(fù)數(shù)名詞/不可數(shù)名詞,謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)取決于后面的名詞。*Large quantities of water are needed for cooling purpose.冷卻要用大量的水。*A quantity of food has been sent to the disasterstricken

11、area.大量的食物被送往了災(zāi)難襲擊的地區(qū)。(四)不定代詞作主語時的主謂一致1either,neither,each,little,much等作主語時,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式。*Each of us has a company car.我們每人都有一輛公司的汽車。2both,few,many,several等作主語時,謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式。*Both of them swim well.他們倆都很會游泳。3all指可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)作主語時,謂語動詞形式用復(fù)數(shù);若指不可數(shù)名詞作主語,謂語動詞形式用單數(shù)。*All of us were disappointed by him.他使我們大家都失望了。*All

12、of his advice is very important to us.他的所有的建議對我們來說很重要。4none指可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)作主語時,謂語動詞形式單、復(fù)數(shù)均可;若指不可數(shù)名詞作主語,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式。*None of the money is mine.這筆錢沒有一點是我的。*None of the guests want to stay.客人中沒有一個想留下的。二、難點突破特殊結(jié)構(gòu)作主語時的主謂一致。1由and連接的并列單數(shù)主語前若有no,each,many a,every等修飾,謂語動詞要用單數(shù)。*Each boy and each girl is asked to be dre

13、ssed in a school uniform.每個男孩及每個女孩都被要求穿校服。*Many a book and many a dictionary was bought for the school. 為這所學(xué)校買了很多的書及詞典。2當(dāng)and連接的兩個詞指同一個人或事物時,謂語要用單數(shù)。*The writer and teacher is giving a lecture to the students.這位作家兼教師正在給學(xué)生們做報告。3many a/more than one/one of單數(shù)名詞謂語(單數(shù))。*Many a book is handed out among the

14、readers.很多書被分發(fā)給了讀者。4the形容詞作主語。*The poor are in need of help.窮人們需要幫助。5在there be句式中,謂語動詞與就近的名詞單復(fù)數(shù)一致。*There is a dictionary and some papers on the desk.桌上有一本詞典和一些講義。the形容詞指一類人或可數(shù)事物謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)指抽象概念或不可數(shù)事物謂語動詞用單數(shù)6在倒裝句中,謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)與其后面的名詞的單復(fù)數(shù)一致。*There comes the bus.公交車來了。7定語從句中關(guān)系代詞作主語時,謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)與先行詞的單復(fù)數(shù)一致。*Those w
