()10.A.grassB.meatC.breadD.cake知識梳理:1. Whydidthesendersuse35capital(大寫)letters?Washeorsheangry,36didthatpersonjust37toturnoffthe“CapsLock”(大寫鎖定)onthecomputer?Thisemailsoundslikethe38isshoutingbecauseusingallcapitallettersinane-mailis39thewaythatpeopleshoutonline.(2004蘇州)34.A.readingB.typingC.watchingD.leaving35.A.someB.a(chǎn)llC.a(chǎn)nyD.none36.A.butB.orC.a(chǎn)ndD.so37.A.startB.beginC.forgetD.remember38.A.writerB.workerC.nurseD.student39.A.hardlyB.carefullyC.silentlyD.usually根據(jù)首句中的“Imagineyoureceiveane-mail…” He,37,onlysaidwithasmile.“Won’titbebetterformetoaskyouforhelponacertainproblem?”Hereishisproblem.“Peopleall38totheplacewhereagoldmine(金礦)had39beendiscoveredbutwere40byariveracrosstheonlywaytoit.Whatwouldyoudoifyouwereamongthem?”“Make41way,”someonereplied.“Swim42,”saidanother.Thebusinessmansmiledwithoutaword.Finallyhegavehis43.“Whynotdosomething44insteadofrushingtothemine?Howaboutbuyingaboattodosomeferrying(擺渡)?”Theaudiencewere45.Heexplainedcalmly,“Theboatmancould46thepassengersforasmuchmoneyaspossible.Theywerewilling(愿意)topay47therewasgoldontheother48.”Dowhattheotherswouldnotliketodoordosomethingnevertriedbeforebyothers—thatisthekey49success.Toacleverman,abadcircumstance(環(huán)境)often50apotential(潛在的)chanceofsuccess.(2004泰州)38.A.enteredB.rushedC.gotD.flew42.A.overB.throughC.a(chǎn)crossD.a(chǎn)long43.A.ideaB.storyC.problemD.meaning44.A.difficultB.differentC.interestingD.exciting45.A.tiredB.worriedC.pleasedD.surprised這篇文章主要是通過一個具體的事例給讀者講述一個道理:做別人不愿意做的事或者做別人未做的事是獲得成功的金鑰匙。 課堂鞏固:(1)Mr.BlacklovedhisdaughterHelenverymuch.Everydayhespentallofhisfreetime51withher.Onenight,hehadmuchworktodo,52couldn'tplaywithhisdaughter.Inordertokeepher53,hefoundamapoftheworldinamagazineandcutitintopieces.Whenhe54,Helencamerunningtohimandwasreadytoplay.Mr.Blacksaidhehad55timetoplayfightnow.Hetoldthegirltoputthepiecesofpaperbacktogethertoamapoftheworld,andthentheycouldbothplay.Abouthalfanhourlater,Helencametoherfatherandsaid,"Okay,it'sfinished.Canweplaynow?"Mr.Blackwassurprisedsaying,"That's56Let'sgoandsee."Andsureenough,therewasthepictureoftheworld;allputtogether,every57initsplace.Mr.Blacksaid,"That'ssurprising!58didyoudothat?"Helensaid,"Itwas59.Onthebackofthepagewasapictureofa60.WhenIputthemantogether,thewholeworldfellintoplace."51.A.workingB.runningC.playingD.walking52.A.orB.andC.butD.then53.A.sleepyB.warmC.freeD.busy54.A.lefthomeB.gothomeC.lettheofficeD.gottotheoffice55.A.noB.enoughC.muchD.some56.A.rightB.wrongC.possibleD.impossible57.A.mapB.pictureC.pieceD.page58.A.HowB.WhyC.WhenD.Where59.A.hardB.simpleC.difficultD.different60.A.boyB.girlC.manD.woman(2)Threesmallfishlivedinthesea.Whentheywereveryyoung,theirparentsdied.Theyhadto61eachotherdayafterday.Finally,theygrewupand62toswimdeeperandfurther.Onemorning.thethreefishwere63toashallow(淺)waterbyabigwave(浪).Asmallboatwastakenthere.too.Itwashardforthefishtogobacktotheseabecausetheboatwasfightinfrontofthem.Thelargestfishrealizedthattheywere64andsaidtheyhadtofindawaytoleavethereasfastaspossible.Thesecondlargestfish65withhiselderbrother,buttheyoungestonedidnot.Hesaidthattherewasmuch66fortheiractivities,sohewouldnotworryatallandstillswamaround67.Atlast,thelargestfishreturnedtothe68byjumpingoverthelowestpartoftheboat.Thesecondlargestfishalsosucceededin69hiseiderbrotherintheothersideofwater.Buttheyoungestonedidn'tfollowthemandstillswamjoyfully.Twohourslater,whenthe70roseup,thewaterinthesmallshallowcornerdriedup.Thefishwhodidnottrytoreturntotheseadiedoflack(缺乏)ofwater.61.A.listentoB.lookafterC.talkwithD.worryabout62.A.daredB.hatedC.refusedD.stopped63.A.allowedB.givenC.invitedD.taken64.A.insafetyB.indoubtC.indangerD.inpe 由于完形填空是一個整篇的文章,因此千萬不要看一個空選擇一個空。
