youngerpeople.3.比較級也可用于“the+比較級+the+比較級”結(jié)構(gòu)。該結(jié)構(gòu)意為“越……，就越……”。

e.g.ThemoreIthoughtaboutit,thelessIlikedtheidea.4.表示“最高級含義”的比較級結(jié)構(gòu)：

①“比較級+thananyother...”意為“比其他任何一個……都……”；

②not,never之類的否定詞與形容詞或副詞的比較級連用也可表示最高級含義，意為“再沒有比……更……的了”。

e.g.TheGreeksspendmoremoneyonfoodthananyothernationinEurope.Ihaveneverreadabetternovel.5.“no+比較級+than”和“notmore+比較級+than”的區(qū)別：“no+比較級+than”結(jié)構(gòu)表示對兩個比較對象都進(jìn)行否定（可用neither...nor...結(jié)構(gòu)來改寫）；“notmore+比較級+than”結(jié)構(gòu)表示在程度上前者不如后者。e.g.Kittyisnomorecapable(有能力的)ofspeakingChinesethanLucy.=NeitherKittynorLucycanspeakChinese.Thiscoatisnotmoreexpensivethanthatone.=Thiscoatislessexpensivethanthatone.6.形容詞或副詞的比較等級可用于以下結(jié)構(gòu)來表達(dá)倍數(shù)：

①倍數(shù)+as+形容詞/副詞的原級+as...；

②倍數(shù)+形容詞/副詞的比較級+than...；

③倍數(shù)+the+名詞（如：size,height,weight,length,width等）+of...。e.g.Polly’shouseisthreetimesas
