不定冠詞a/an用法

1.majority

majority為名詞,意為“大多數(shù);大部分(人或物)”,常和the連用。例如:

Themajorityarefortheplan.

注意:

1)majority單獨作主語時,謂語動詞用單復(fù)數(shù)均可。例如:

Themajorityagreewithme/agreeswithme.

2)themajorityof+復(fù)數(shù)名詞作主語時,謂語通常用復(fù)數(shù);themajorityof+不可數(shù)名詞

作主語時,謂語通常用單數(shù)。例如:

impression后可接同位語從句。例如:

3.prefer

prefer為及物動詞,意為“更喜歡;寧愿”,后面可接動詞不定式或動詞的-ing作賓語。例

prefersb.todosth.意為“喜歡某人做某事例如:

prefer接that從句時,從句?般用虛擬語氣。例如:

注意:prefer的過去式和過去分詞為preferred,preferred(>prefer不用于進行時。

prefersth./doing+to(介詞)+sth./doing意為“喜歡...而不喜歡”;prefertodo...
