每年農(nóng)歷五月初五為端午節(jié)，是中國民間的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日，在我的家鄉(xiāng)，人們叫它端午節(jié)。

我的家鄉(xiāng)在綏江縣會儀鎮(zhèn)的一個遙遠山區(qū)，家鄉(xiāng)的端午節(jié)是與中秋節(jié)一樣盛大的節(jié)日。只要達上五月初一，人們就忙于購置糯米，雄黃、白糖，找野生菖蒲、陳艾、粽葉等。有時鎮(zhèn)文化站還要組織劃龍舟的訓練和進行龍舟竟賽。

每年農(nóng)歷五月初四，各家各戶首先把房子清掃得干潔凈凈，在廚房里灑上雄黃水，用來殺死毒蟲或防止毒蟲孳生，然后把粽葉洗潔凈，把糯米用溫水泡上兩三個小時。下午，全家人圍在一起包粽子。包粽子很有樂趣，大人小孩忙不停，大人包得美觀，小孩也是跟著學，通常把四角粽子包成了三角形，包粽子時，雙手把粽葉卷成錐形，再往錐形粽葉里塞滿糯米，一只手將粽葉封好，用另一只手的食指和拇指一捏，用棕葉攔腰捆上，便做成美觀的四角粽子了。最終把粽子放在鍋里煮上一兩個小時，煮好后撈出來泡在水里，其次天就可以吃了。

端午節(jié)一早，人們就在自家的大門左面掛上五束菖蒲，右面掛上五束陳艾，喻意：“興盛富強，樸實持家，家庭和諧長期恩愛”。吃早飯的時候，全家圍在一桌吃粽子，喝雄黃酒。早餐后，年輕夫婦領(lǐng)著沒上學的小孩到外婆家送節(jié)去了。老人就帶著半大孩子去趕街，看劃龍舟，還少不了給孩子們買點紀念品。

家鄉(xiāng)真好!我愛家鄉(xiāng)的端午節(jié)，更愛那芳香、美觀、味純的粽子。
