1.平行構造的運用平行構造作為一種使句子變得緊湊而錯落有致的寫作方式,有以下成效:句式優(yōu)美、表達清晰、重點突出,使用盡可能少的詞傳達了盡可能多的信息.例如:主題句為Videogamesareakindofentertainment.利用平行構造拓展為:Theybringpleasurestoyoungsters,trainthemtorespondquickly,stimulatetheirimaginationinelectronics.不難看出,此處容豐富具體、行文流暢,有極強的說服力.

2.句式靈活多變假設文中的簡單句出現得太多,就會顯得單調、含混、不生動.要寫出生動而鮮明的句子,可通過喬姆斯基的轉化生成語法中的嵌入方式來實現.一個簡單句,嵌入定語、狀語、補語后,變得生動有趣.如:Bookstellingpeoplehowtoadaptthemselvestothesocietyareworthreading.讀起來比Booksareworthreading.更耐人尋味,是由于前一個句子中的主語前加了一個復雜的定語.再如:Harrystoodattheedgeofthepath,watchingthecarsrunning.這是一個簡單句后附上了伴隨狀語,使句子更加生動.在拓展主題句時,注意適時地變換句式,是一種有效的寫作策略,同時能使文章產生意想不到的文學效果.

3.使用符合英美人表達習慣的習語能將諸如attachgreatimportanceto,leaveadeepimpressionon,induecourse,getthejumpon等習語運用到文章中,反映了作者一定的語言功底和較高的英語表達水平.

4.連接手段的補充準確地使用一些signalwords,總能讓松散的拓展句自然地銜接起來,而且整個段落層次清楚、前后連貫.常用于表示因果關系的連詞有:so,hence,thus,therefore,asaresult等.常用于表示遞進關系的連詞有:besides,moreover,furthermore,additionally等.常用于表示轉折關系的連詞有:however,nevertheless,but,yet,ontheotherhand等.常用于表示比照關系的表達方式有:Someprefer...otherslongfor...;WecancompareAwithB...;...havesomethingincommon;Eachhasitspositiveandnegativeaspects.等.常用于舉例說明的表達方式有:Asimplee*ampleis...;Take...asane*ample...;Anillustrationwillmakethepointclear.;First,considerthecaseof...常用于總結全文的表達方式有:inaword,tosumup,inshort,thus,thereasonwhywemust...;Onaccountofthiswefindthat...;Fromthispointofview...二、容上

1.化抽象的概述為細節(jié)的描述抽象的概述總會給人言之無物的感覺,假設再進展具體的描述,文章容頓時充實起來,變得有血有肉,不再枯燥乏味,似乎有生命力了.例如:Musiciseverywhere.這是一個容抽象的主題句,我們找到切入點后,可在everywhere上做文章,于是接下來可拓展為:Wecanhearitinrestaurants,airports,hospitals,supermarketsandmanyotherpublicplaces.再如:Peoplecanacquireskillsthroughrecreation.這也是個概述,假設充實以下容就豐富多了,即:Theycanlearntofish,paint,plantflowersanddopapercutting.另外,這里的learnto正好與acquire相對應.

2.從不同角度選材選材時應考慮到段落的單一性和完整性,單一性即一個中心思想,完整性就是要防止支離破碎或容僅局限在*一狹窄的圍.材料要做到涵蓋面廣,而且愈典型愈好,但也不能憑空編造,應以事實為根底,這樣一來,就防止了片面性或謬誤.例如:主題句為Scienceandtechnologybenefitshumanbeingmuch.(科學技術給人類帶來益處),在展開此主題句的過程中,可從農業(yè)、醫(yī)學、電訊業(yè)等不同角度來補充材料,行文如下:Sciencemakesitpossibleforanationtoensurefoodandclothing(農業(yè)方面),sciencecanmakepeoplelivelonger(醫(yī)學方面),andit'ssciencethatmakesitasmallworld(通訊方面).當然,提高寫作水平非一日之功,要注意平時不斷地積累,盡可能增加語言的輸入量,才能厚積薄發(fā),寫作時才能得心應手;這樣,假以時日,自然而然就提高了用英語流暢地表達思想的能力.
