中國與新加坡職業(yè)教育比較研究Abstract
CareereducationhasbeencrucialforthedevelopmentofbothChinaandSingapore.Inrecentyears,bothcountrieshaveprioritizedthedevelopmentofvocationaleducationprograms.ThispaperaimstocomparethevocationaleducationsystemsofChinaandSingaporeandidentifysimilaritiesanddifferencesbetweenthetwo.
ThepaperwillbeginwithanoverviewofthevocationaleducationsystemsinChinaandSingapore.Thiswillincludeananalysisofthestructure,curriculum,andfinancingofvocationaleducationinbothcountries.Thepaperwillalsocomparethelevelsofinvestmentthateachcountryhasmadeinvocationaleducationprograms.
ThepaperwillthenfocusonthestrengthsandweaknessesofthevocationaleducationsystemsinChinaandSingapore.Finally,thepaperwillconcludewithrecommendationsfortheimprovementofvocationaleducationinbothcountries.

ThispaperwillcomparethevocationaleducationsystemsofChinaandSingapore.Thepaperwillbeginwithanoverviewofthesystemsinbothcountries.Thepaperwillthencomparethelevelsofinvestmentthateachcountryhasmadeinvocationaleducationprograms.ThepaperwillalsoanalyzethestrengthsandweaknessesofthevocationaleducationsystemsinChinaandSingapore.Finally,thepaperwillconcludewithrecommendationsfortheimprovementofthesystemsinbothcountries.

Chinahasalargevocationaleducationsystem,withover9,000vocationalandtechnicalschools.ThevocationaleducationsysteminChinaisdividedintotwomaincategories:secondaryvocationaleducationandhighervocationaleducation.Secondaryvocationaleducationisprovidedbyvocationalhighschools,technicalsecondaryschools,andvocationalschools.Highervocationaleducationisprovidedbyvocationalcollegesandhighervocationalschools.

Singapore'svocationaleducationsystemissimilartothatofChina.Thesystemisdividedintotwomaincategories:secondarytechnicaleducationandpost-secondarytechnicaleducation.SecondarytechnicaleducationisprovidedbytheInstituteofTechnicalEducation(ITE),whilepost-secondarytechnicaleducationisprovidedbypolytechnicsandprivateinstitutions.
ThecurriculumofvocationaleducationinSingaporeemphasizesboththeoryandpracticalskills.Studentsarerequiredtoparticipateininternshipsandapprenticeshipstoacquirepracticalexperience.
InvestmentinVocationalEducation
