1）菜單應先遞給女士，無女士則先遞給長者。如果有很多人一起用餐，則可以將菜單遞給主賓。

2）應給客人充裕的時間選擇，也可看情況介紹一些招牌菜（housespecialty）或當日有特價的菜式（today’sspecial）。

3）在接受點菜時，必須問清客人的需求，“您喜歡怎樣做您點的……?”（Howwouldyoulikeyour…?）
