e.g.:I'dlikesomethingtodrink.LanguagePoints定語從句(一):由who,what,which引導(dǎo)的定語從句一、概念在復(fù)合句中,修飾某一名詞或代詞的從句叫定語從句。定語從句所修飾的名詞或代詞叫先行詞,定語從句放在先行詞的后面。引導(dǎo)定語從句的詞叫關(guān)系詞。關(guān)系詞包括關(guān)系代詞和關(guān)系副詞。關(guān)系代詞有that,which,who(賓格為whom,所有格為whose),關(guān)系副詞有where,why,when。本單元我們主要學(xué)習(xí)關(guān)系代詞who,that和which引導(dǎo)的定語從句。注意:定語從句在翻譯成中文時(shí),從句應(yīng)翻譯在先行詞的前面。

e.g.:TomisoneoftheboysthatarefromtheUS.TomistheonlyboythatisfromtheUS.2.在從句中作賓語時(shí),可省略。關(guān)系代詞前有介詞時(shí),不能省略。
e.g.:Maryisthegirlforwhich(不可省略)I'mwaiting.Thisisthestory(that/which)(可省略)Ireadinthatbook.3.當(dāng)先行詞既有人又有物時(shí),引導(dǎo)定語從句的關(guān)系代詞用that而不用who或which。
