greenhouse3effect

short-waveradiation

warming

dioxide

othersubstances,

thereby

creatingthe

effect

of

atmosphericwarming.Greenhouse

gas:Carbon

dioxide

is

notthe

only

greenhousegas.Other

gases,

such

asmethane

(CH4)

andnitrous

( 氮的、硝的)oxide

(NO),

are

evenstrongerinfrared(紅外線的)absorbers.4The

greenhouse

effect

is

maintaining

the

propertemperature

needed

to

hottest

year

since

official

weather

records

first

startedbeing

kept

by

the

British

in

about

globalaverage

temperatures

haveprojected

an

increase

of

asmuch

as

5°C

before

the

year2100.

Such

a

rise

in

globaltemperature

would

producenew

patterns

and

extremedrought

and

rainfall,

whichwould

seriously

disrupt

food.

couldproductionpotentiallyAmericancorn

belt

,cripple

the

Northwhichproduces

much

of

the

world'sgrain,

leading

to

much

higherfood

prices,

and

even

less

foodfor

the

Third

World

than

theyalready

the

melting

of

thepolar

ice

could

severelyflood

many

countries.

percentof Bangladesh(

Protocol《 京都議定書

》 (英文:

KyotProtocol,又譯《京都協(xié)議書》、《京都條約》;全稱《聯(lián)合國氣

候變化框架公約的京都議定書》)是《聯(lián)合國氣候變化框架公約》(United Nations FrameworkConvention on ClimateChange,UNFCCC)的補(bǔ)充條款。是1997年12月在日本京都由聯(lián)合國氣候變化框架公約參加國三次會議制定的。其目標(biāo)是“將大氣中的溫室氣體含量穩(wěn)定在一個適當(dāng)?shù)乃剑M(jìn)而防止劇烈的氣候改變對人類造成傷害”。12AOSIS
