1.表示過去某一時(shí)間或動(dòng)作之前已經(jīng)發(fā)生或完成的動(dòng)作或存在的狀態(tài)。句中常用by,before,when,until等詞引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語.它是以過去某一時(shí)間為起點(diǎn),所以過去完成時(shí)是一個(gè)相對的時(shí)態(tài),表示的是“過去的過去”。只有和過去某時(shí)間或某動(dòng)作相比較時(shí)才能用到它例:Mostoftheguestshadleftwhenhearrivedattheparty.當(dāng)他到達(dá)晚會(huì)時(shí),他發(fā)現(xiàn)大多數(shù)客人已經(jīng)離開了。2.過去完成時(shí)還可表示過去某一時(shí)刻之前發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)持續(xù)到過去某個(gè)時(shí)間或持續(xù)下去,常與for,since等詞連用。例:WhenJackarrived,Maryhadbeenawayforalmostanhour.當(dāng)杰克到時(shí),瑪麗已經(jīng)離開快一個(gè)小時(shí)了。bythetime的用法bythetime

意為“到……時(shí)候(為止)”,是一個(gè)介詞短語,在句中常起到連詞的作用,引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語從句。如果從句中的謂語動(dòng)詞是一般過去式,那么主句的謂語動(dòng)詞通常用過去完成時(shí),表示“截止到從句動(dòng)作發(fā)生時(shí),主句動(dòng)作已經(jīng)完成,即過去的過去”。例:Bythetimeyoucameback,Ihadfinishedthisbook.你回來時(shí)我已經(jīng)把這本書看完了。(從句謂語動(dòng)詞cameback為一般過去時(shí),所以主句動(dòng)作用過去完成時(shí)hadfinished,表示過去的過去。)2.如果從句中的謂語動(dòng)詞為一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)或現(xiàn)在完成時(shí),那么從句中的謂語動(dòng)詞常用將來完成時(shí),表示“截止到將來的某一時(shí)刻為止,主句動(dòng)作將已完成。例:BythetimeIgethome,theywillhaveleft.我到家時(shí)他們將已經(jīng)離開。

BythetimeIgraduatenextyear,Iwillhavelivedhereforfiveyears.到明年畢業(yè)時(shí),我將已經(jīng)在這待了五年了。(1)bytheendof+時(shí)間點(diǎn)意為“到……結(jié)束時(shí)”

①+過去的時(shí)間點(diǎn),主句用過去完成時(shí);例:Bytheendoflastyear,IhadstayedinXi’anforsevenyears.到去年結(jié)束時(shí),我已經(jīng)在西安待了七年了。

②+將來的時(shí)間點(diǎn),主句用將來完成時(shí);拓展延伸例:Bytheendofnextmonth,Iwillhavefinishedmynewbook.到下個(gè)月結(jié)束時(shí)我將要完成我的新書。(2)by+時(shí)間點(diǎn)意為“到……為止;截止……時(shí)”

①+現(xiàn)在的時(shí)間點(diǎn),主句用現(xiàn)在完成時(shí);例:Bynow,Ihavefinishedallmyhomework.

截止現(xiàn)在,我已經(jīng)完成了所有的作業(yè)。

②+過去的時(shí)間點(diǎn),主句用過去完成時(shí);例:Byyesterday,thebuildinghadbeencompleted.截止昨天,這個(gè)建筑就已經(jīng)完成了。③+將來的時(shí)間點(diǎn),主句用將來完成時(shí)。例:Bytomorrow,allthestudentswillhavebeenoutoftheschool.到明天所有的學(xué)生都將離校。1.Timwentintothebathroom.Marygotup.____________________________________________________________________2.Thecoffeebecamecold.Iputcreaminthecoffee.____________________________________________________________________
