Theydiscoveredthattheupperandlowerfrontteethofancienthumanadultswerealigned(對齊),
makingithardtoproducelabiodentals,whichareformedbytouchingthelowerliptotheupperteeth.
Later,ourjawschangedtoanoverbitestructure(結(jié)構(gòu)),makingiteasiertoproducesuchsounds.
Theteamshowedthatthischangeinbitewasconnectedwiththedevelopmentofagriculturein
theNeolithicperiod.Foodbecameeasiertochewatthispoint.Thejawbonedidn'thavetodoasmuch
workandsodidn'tgrowtobesolarge.
Analysesofalanguagedatabasealsoconfirmedthattherewasaglobalchangeinthesoundof
